Forum Leaders [Archive] - Wizards Community

12-13-07, 01:15 PM The community Management team has created a new initiative to help the community express their feedback and suggestions regarding the forums. With the large number of forums we have we wanted to implement a way for users to get their feedback to the CM team in an effective manner. Community management believes that the best source of information about a community comes from the community itself, and this program is designed with that principle in mind.

Forum leads do not have any moderation powers whatsoever. They do, however, have a direct voice to the WotC Community Management team. They are here to help represent your community. If you have any feedback or suggestions you'd like to see passed along, let them know!

Forum Lead Mission statement;
Forum leads work as advocates for the community, providing WotC with suggestions and ideas regarding their community, while also helping to provide guidance and help to all forum members, new and old.

WoTC has him chained to a desk in Renton. He has to churn out 100 pages of quality content per day or he doesn't get his piece of moldy bread and bowl of tepid water.

He's made several escape attempts already, but the guards keep raising the lock DC. Unfortunately for the Infernal Bovine, they've also discovered they can Aid Another on their Sense Motive checks to overcome his Bluff checks. They're not falling for the "I have to pee" gambit anymore.

Keith has said in the past that he spends too much time on the boards just answering questions. Being a lead would mean he would have to keep doing everything he is doing now, plus keep tabs on what needs doing in the community, see about getting it done, etc. Means more time spent on the boards, and more work done.

Basically, the leads take on responsibility to try and improve the boards themselves. If Keith wants to take time out of his writing to work on the boards for free, we'd be happy to have him.

Or more properly "More time on the boards and less work done." ;) I like being able to participate on the boards, but I certainly don't feel a need to serve in this way.
