My group (I'm the GM) is consisted of a halfling sorcerer, warforged duskblade, elf druid, and a gnome arficicer (all lv1). I want to introduce my PC that I will switch off with the warfoged duskblade when I get sick of GMing (which should be around lv5). I really want to be a halfing (barbarian possibly), but need a good class to fill the void. My group is getting the psionic books soon (but I still have little knowledge on how to work that), and I am willing to buy a book if you've got an idea that works. Also, I'm wondering how you would work a dinosaur mount for a halfing barbarian. I wouldn't mind adding a template if it fits. Thanks!

Actually, a barbarian might fit the bill - if you are the "replacement" for the duskblade, your party probably will be lacking a front-line warrior.
However, to simplify things, a ranger might be better - just take your dinosaur as your animal companion. You might have to work out a few rough edges, but the combination of a halfling ranger and his dinosaur mount/animal companion should be quite powerful - especially if you go for the archery style. This would also fit the image of the hordes of mounted barbarians our little friends from the Talenta Plains tend to invoke...

A ranger would work nicely. Also, if you wanted to go barbarian and wanted an animal companion, there's a feat on the Wizards site somewhere that gives you one. I'm not sure where it is or what the prereqs are, but there ya go.

The feat you are talking about is here (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/re/20031118a)

And halfling barbarians are great fun to play, in my experience at least.
