Has anything official (or unofficial!) been written on how hellbred fit into Eberron? I'm about to embark on my running first campaign and I think one of my players would like to play a hellbred. thanks in advance. SV

yrogerg 07-29-07, 11:27 PM	One idea that was discussed in a different thread, and that I'm personally a huge fan of, is to have the Hellbred represent a particularly powerful soul who, either through help from friends from life, or by himself, managed to free himself from Dolurrh or the Keeper's lair. As he stepped back into Eberron, a new body formed around his spirit, and he breathed a fresh breath of Eberronian air into his newly formed lungs. Basically, you would keep the fluff of damnation and reincarnation, but lose the fluff about Devils, specifically- I don't think Shavarath is really a great fit. Likewise, I would eschew the alignment stuff, somewhat; by keeping the death and reincarnation fluff, this version of the Hellbred seem like excellent candidates for devotees or higher-ups of the BoV, so I'd want to leave that route fully open.
