Help with a Mystic Theurge [Archive] - Wizards Community

03-08-07, 12:06 AM I'm joining a new game in eberon ( a world i really dont know that well ) and i was thinking of playing a Mystic Theurge i was gona build him like so : First 3 lvls as cloistered cleric ( a Unearthed arcana variant ) and then 3 of wiz . I also may drop my turns for smite evil and aura of courage .
I'm not sure on the god but i was thinking of the sovereing host as a whole . For my domains i was thinking of Comunity ( i'm sure the knight , who is also my character's Brother , in the team will like Greater Status :) )
and Mysticism ( granted i dont have the charisma but the spells are great ) and i have Knowlage as a bonus .
as for the feats no idea but i was looking at the Reserve ones for later .
My stats will be ( so far ) :
Str 10
Dex 13
Con 12
Int 18
Wis 17 ( not planing on puting points in it )
Cha 10

I have a background already for him/them : Sons of Cyre who whant to know what caused the disaster that created the mournlands ( dont know the exact name of the event ) and reverse it ( good luck on that one lol ) not to mention bring the ones responsable to justice . This is the short version ( I'm tired and i'm working in the morning :weep: )

If you have any idea plz give me your :twocents:

P.S. I know it looks a "bit" like Caramon and Raistlin but i am not playing the power hungry type cliché but a patriot ( feels weird on a Caster but could be really fun )

Research Feat

What it gives you something useful to do in town adventures. (In my DMing experience no one plans for town Adventures and wind up dying horrible deaths after about 3 failed Gather Info checks And a failed Sense Motive)

Aureon - Knowledge and Law

Yes the Knowledge just lets you spend skill points from cleric amd mystic theurge as willy-nilly on knowledge skills as if you was a wizard. And Law... I just think Orders Wraith is too cool to pass up.

Though my advice is to avoid the smitting. The beefyness of the 3 levels Cleric pail in the wussyness of the 3 levels of Wizard.

No , i didint have the FN book but it is very interesting but i'm not sure about combining this with MT unless i take lvls in it after my 10 lvl of MT . Definitly worth checking ( especialy if i go for single Mage or Cleric ) . Ty for that info .
