Help would be appreciated:DHave you looked at, I don't know, the Dirgesinger PrC? :D Yes, there is actually a Dirgesinger PrC. Its a bard PrC in Libris Mortis, page 43.

OP didn't specifically say "I want at least 3/4 caster progression, preferrably full", so I wouldn't restrict my suggestions to only PrC with full progression. Just me though.
bbthereaper 04-06-07, 10:36 PM	True, if I had anything to recommend, I would just say it and let them figure it out. But, do you think the dirge singer really fits with the duur'kala? I figure they do more than sing dirges (even in the dark), and dirge singer is awfully specific. That, and with that whole undead focus. No clue what the goblins think of that. I'd probably second the war chanter myself, and maybe pick up the Haunting Melody feat from the ECS. Though, looking at it now, the war chanter does get the whole frightening song thing. Haunting Melody is something to look at if you don't go war chanter (or dirge singer, since it's got a scary song, too).
Belabras 04-07-07, 12:48 AM	Ture, but Haunting Melody is available a lot earlier than the War Chanter's Frightful Utterance ability. It would make a good feat choice if you don't intend to go all the way through the PRC.
Bakho 04-07-07, 10:41 AM	I like the war chanter idea...and the character will be martial oriented, so I can give up the spellcasting. As for the Haunting Melody...I'll take the feat, coupled with Extra Music and Song of the Heart. So he'll be using bardic music alot... I have thought about the Dirge Singer from Libris Mortis, but it's too undead oriented for my taste (and I do not picture the Dhakaani as undead using people). Thanks for all the help!;)

Help would be appreciated:D If the campaign is focused on opposition to the Daelkyr (or even if it isn't and you like the flavor) you might take a look at the Keeper of the Cerulean Sign from Lords of Madness. It would make a lot of sense if the Order of the Cerulean Sign were originally founded by Hobgobs during the Daelkyr invasion, sort of like their version of the Gatekeepers. - Ron ^*^
