03-19-07, 03:14 PM what are the stats on a horrid bear i know the conversion is in the ebberron book but i dont have access to it at this time and i need the stats tonite thanks

03-19-07, 04:47 PM Sadly, the Horrid Animal template is copyrighted material that we can't use on a public board like this. If it's not in the SRD, it's not ok to post (and if we used it on a bear, which is under the Open Gaming License and in the SRD, it could easily be reversed to figure out the template).

03-19-07, 05:32 PM I don't think you understand what the System Reference Document is. Its purpose is to compile the material freely usable under the Open Gaming License. Anything published by Wizards of the Coast that doesn't appear in the official SRD* is protected by copyright laws and illegal to reproduce, in digital form or otherwise.

*There is one noteworthy exception: much of the material in Arcana Unearthed is open content. Basically, if it's not on this site (http://www.d20srd.org/), it's not legal for it to be anywhere else.

According to page 37 of the ECS, yes. However, that is likely a mistake. All other regions that get horrid bears get it at 16th level. Also, it seems weird that Brelish/Darguul/Zil druids would get horrid bears before dire bears.

03-20-07, 04:03 PM Possible, but in the Explorer's Handbook, one of the adventure hooks for the Lyrandar Docking Tower mentionned something about horrid giant owls. The template can't be applied to magical beasts. Furthermore, I haven't seen any dire owls up to now.
