I am not specifically focusing on any Artificer type per se but I want him to use a scimitar (with use of persistent buffs to enhance melee effectiveness) and be generally versatile. I was wondering if someone could critique my feat selection: 1st: Artificer 1-Scribe Scroll; Able Learner; Martial Weapon Proficiency (Scimitar) 2nd: Artificer 2-Brew Potion 3rd: Artificer 3-Craft Wondrous Item; Favored In House 4th: Artificer 4-Attune Magic Weapon 5th: Artificer 5-Craft Magic Arms & Armor; Least Dragonmark (Bonus) 6th: Artificer 6-Extend Spell 7th: Dragonmarked Heir 1-Lesser Dragonmark 8th: Artificer 7-Craft Wand 9th: Dragonmarked Heir 2- Persistent Spell 10th: Artificer 8-Extraordinary Artisan 11th: Dragonmarked Heir 3 12th: Dragonmarked Heir 4-Greater Dragonmark; Dragonmark Luck; Maximize Spell 13th: Artificer 9-Craft Rod 14th: Artificer 10 15th: Artificer 11-Rapid Infusion 16th: Artificer 12-Craft Staff; Etch Schema 17th: Artificer 13 18th: Artificer 14-Forge Ring 19th: Artificer 15 20th: Artificer 16-Extra Rings Thanks for any suggestions.
