Kobolds in Eberron? [Archive] - Wizards Community

09-05-07, 01:52 PM Can anyone tell me what the Kobolds are doing in Eberron? The only info I've found was a sidebar in Races of the Dragon telling the Eberron version of their genisis myth. Anything would help, but a book recommendation would be best.

09-05-07, 01:57 PM You sir are in luck. Keith Baker wrote a handy Dragonshard entiled The Kobolds of Khorvaire (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/ebds/20050321a), I suggest checking it out.

Besides that I do remember one particularly powerful Kobold NPC in Stormreach down in Xen'drik, a 12th level Sorcerer or Warlock (SoX said he may be one or the other).

09-07-07, 09:51 AM One of the NPC's I've made for teh campigne I am designing is a Kobold Paly. He was captured as a we little Koblod by another Paly named Dirk. Dirk could not bring himself to kill the little thing. It was not evil and it was but a child. So he took it upon him self to raise the little kritter himself. After about 11 years they were like father and son. Dirk had named the Kobold Drac kind of as a joke about its insistance that it was related to Dragons. Drac ended up following after his father and became a Paly also, and join him in many adventures. He become somewhat well know around the world. Its not to often you see a Kobold wearing Plate and wielding a big sword while riding on a dog (The dog is his Paly mount.) Eventually his father was slain by an assassian. Drac avenged his father by hunting him down and bringing him to justice. He now quests for the good of Kobolds in an attempt to stop the majority of hatered between Koblods and the other races. While he know's that the Koblods will never give up there traditions and way's, he hopes that he can bring them into the fold and have them become accepted members of socitiy.
