tkotitan 05-10-07, 04:19 PM	I understand that when a living spell tries to engulf a player, they can choose to dodge or make an AoO. If they go for the attack, they become engulfed, provided of course that the living spell lives. I wanted to make sure, but it sounds like once a character is engulfed, they do not get any save normally allowed by the spell (as they do versus the slam attack). For example a living flesh to stone would not give a fortitude save to an engulfed character and they would be turned to stone without a save? Also englufed creatures are considered grappled and trapped within the body of the living spell. Can it otherwise act normally or are all the actions of the living spell caught up in grappling? Can it engulf more than one character at a time if it is large? I suppose some of the same questions apply to gelatinous cubes.
crashbangboom 05-11-07, 09:37 AM	To the best of my knowledge, a living spell can engulf as many creatures as spaces it takes up, and yes if the entry for the creature says no save then no save is allowed. A living spell can not however do anything other than move if it (tries to) engulf targets. This is just what I can recall without the literature in front of me.:pile: :tiphat: :mage:
