I was reading another thread about shifter lycanthropes and a question occured to me. If you were a WM weretiger and bit by a werebat(contracting lycanthropy) when you shift into hybrid form do you have to chose one or could you be a flying were tiger? Thanks in advance for your replies.

I would personally think that Shifters are immune to Lycanthropy.

Seconded, for flavor reasons.

I think he means IF shifters can contract lycanthropy, what would happen. I would think that it depends on the situation. Full moon or other event that would cause a lycanthropic change unwillingly, bat. Willing change: choose.

By the RAW Shifters are no more immune to lycanthropy than anyone else. I dont disagree with a flavorful house rule, but I just wanted to put that out there.

Thematically you could argue that they're *more* susceptible to it, since they're already partway there.
