psiforged favored class [Archive] - Wizards Community

07-28-07, 06:57 PM Whats the psiforged's favored class? I thought it would be psychic warrior,fighter, or soulknife, but I didn't see it in Magic of
Ebberon. I also thought that it might be psion too.

Psiforged are just Warforged that have retroactively had psionic crystals embedded into the structure. It's like taking the Mithril or Unarmored Body feat. It doesn't changed favored class.

Although that would be somewhat like houseruling that Ironwood body changes favored class to Druid or that Unarmored body changes favored class to Monk, Ninja, or some kind of arcane spellcaster.

I would think it's more of a balance thing. There's still nothing preventing a Warforged of any kind from taking levels in any Psionic Class, whether it's their favored class or not.

Flavorwise, they seem to be treated much more like a subrace.

How you want to deal with it is up to you, but if Psiforged were truly a subrace they would be a fairly underpowered one.

07-29-07, 11:16 AM I think I have seen some types of feats before that give or change favoured class. I do not think it would be unbalancing to say that Psiforged Body adds the Psychic Warrior to a warforgeds favoured classes. So, you'd have " Favoured Class: Fighter and Psychic Warrior " .

07-29-07, 05:05 PM I thought there was a side bar or something that said that the psiforged were a new thing being produced my Merrith that didn't start until after the end of the war so the standard fighter should be easily changed to psi-warrior if that is true.
