Please show me where this information was gained from. if its not What lvl would it be. Thanks. and how easy do you think it would be to put Symbionts in to another campaign. and do you think i would need the Daelkyr if i did? any way thanks guys
dfarnsworth 03-11-07, 05:26 PM	Symbionts were, I believe introduced in the FF for 3.X. There are a few different types of symbionts if I'm remembering correctly...
fiendish_platypus 03-11-07, 05:49 PM	ECS isn't the first book to introduce symbionts, Fiend Folio (I believe) was the first. So it would be easy to put in any campign, however if you want to use the ones in the ECS then you can just say they were made by mind flayers or some other abberation.

Magic of Eberron gives a price-list - on which the Living Breastplate indeed is listed as as "artifact level".

Armor Class 12 (+2 size -5dex +5 natural ) 7 touch flat 12 Base/Grapple +0-11 Attack - full attack- special attack- special qualities DR 5/byeshk, Light Fortification Symbiont Traits, Telepathy saves fort +3 Ref -5 will+3 Abilitys str 4 dex 1 con 12 int 10 wis 12 cha 12 Ego 6 Hide +2 Listen +4 Spot +4 Feats Great Fortitude Environment Underground Organization Solitary Pair or Raid (4 hosts wairing them) Challange Rateing 1 Alignment Usually lawful evil Treasure None advancement none Lvl Adjustment The Dealkyr New the Living breastplates thare where where powerfull and greanted meany advantages but did not want to take the effert to creat more of the same thease lesser breastplates are given to special soldure groups and are much easyr for the Dealkyr to create Like the Normal ones Lesser Liveing Breastplates understand undercommon and does not speek any language Combat Lesser Breastplates can only be attached to a willing host jest like full breastplates. Lesser breastplates are treated as mediam armor with a +5 armor bonus to ac. Has an armor check penelty of -3 not as Manuverable as its greater cousen. has an arcane spell failure chance of 20% and a max dex of +4 Most lesser breastplates are Desined for Medium creatures. damage Reduction (ex) The Lesser liveing breastplate gives its Wearer DR 5/Byeshk Light Fortification The lesser Living breatplate gives it wearer Light Fortification (25% chance to negate any chrit or sneek attack damage. ) What do you all think would this work as a shock Trooper version of the Liveing Breastplate??

Thanatose 03-13-07, 01:20 AM	Well cost wise i would probably put it between 10 and 12 grand between light fort and damage reduction. not to mention the symbiont traits and by shock troops i mean that it would probably be given to like Mindflayer party's sent for special jobs and stuff like that if any one can give a better price let me know
