decembersfrost 06-10-07, 07:54 PM	Yes, it certainly would. It is not an illusory effect, thus it cannot be dispelled. However, True Seeing can see the Changelings real shape.

The effect is physical, meaning the face they chose would remain in an anti-magic field. However, Minor Shapechange is a supernatural ability, so it cannot be used while in an anti-magic field. Hence, the face they have now wouldn't drop, but they wouldn't be able to change into a new one either, they would be stuck in whatever they had when they went in.

As well is their any way other then true seeing that shows a changling for who he truly is, cause otherwise a changling would just always stay in a different form wouldn't he?

Races of Eberron pidgeonholes the changelings pretty badly into three stereotypes (changes all the time, picks one form and sticks to it, and always uses their normal form). I personally prefer to use Changelings as being a race that sees faces in the same way we see clothes, while letting someone see your true form would be akin to allowing someone see you naked. Its a vulnrable experience, and something you only show to someone you really trust and feel comfortable around.

RoE on page 184 has discern shapechanger, lvl 3 spell. I don't recall the spell letting you know what kind of shapechanger but it at least would let you know if the person you're talking to is really who you're talking to.

No Edy, they can only change their fiscal form, so it would just look like their bank balance was different, but true seeing would show what it really was.
