I can't find anything in the rules that says they don't, on the other hand, it just seems odd that a psionic artificer needs a spell component pouch. |

Not in the traditional Arcane/Divine sense but its still magic which has an established set of rules. It makes no more sense for a Wizard to need a fistful of bat guano than it does to have a Khyber Shard elemental core for your airship. There is some magical reason that these items serve as components or foci for the energy produced, and this in my opinion makes far more sense for Artificers. The Artificer has discovered a way to gather all these things used by the other magically gifted classes and break them down to their core inherit nature. What is it about the Displacer's flesh that allows it to perform its incredible feats of spatial leaping? How is it that Pixies manage to blink out of existence by pure will alone? The Artificer knows these secrets, he has broken down the tools used by the other classes into their most pure extracts, and those are his components. At least that's my take. |

I'm AFB at the moment, but don't infusions have a standard "Component: VSM*" line in their stat block? *just an example, I'm not saying all infusions have all those components. |

Yes, they're in the spells section. Artificer-only infusions usually have costly material components, however -- Some are also spells used by other classes, though I haven't hunted each of these down to see if the ones artificers get require components. |
