| Magnificate03-25-07, 10:23 AM | I've found this template in consolidated monster list on WotC site and wonder what does it do? Are quorbred creatures restricted to Dal Quor or can you find them on Eberron as well? Like for example a Quorbred Gnoll conveniently located in the nearbydungeon? Why kind of backstory do quorbound creatures have? Do the need a Quori to guide them? What are its mechanical bonuses? |
| ieattrollsforbreakfast03-25-07, 10:52 AM | Quorbred creatures are failed experiments by the quori to produce vessels for possession (or the descendants of such creatures). Those experiments eventually led to the creation of the Chosen/Empty Vessels as we know them today. So they are not restricted to Dal Quor (in fact, you don't find them on Dal Quor at all), but you'd be unlikely to find them outside of Sarlona (after all, the Quori chose Sarlona for a reason). They don't need a quori guide (by definition they don't have one), and you might even find some working against the beings that created them. We cannot give you the mechanical bonuses, since the material isn't part of the SRD. |

| ieattrollsforbreakfast03-25-07, 01:47 PM | Perhaps an overview of what kind of abilities they have? Sounds fair. As failed vessels, the quorbred are essentially anti-psionic creatures. Their abilities suppress and hinder psionics both aggressively and passively. Power resistance, for example, but also some more effective abilities. |
