Quori Psi-like abilities [Archive] - Wizards Community

Im DMing an Eberron Campaign focusing on the Dreaming Dark, and am familiarizing myself with the rules concerning the Quori at the moment. While doing that I noticed a problem with the psilike abilities of the Quori:

According to the Expanded Psionics Handbook, all Psilike abilities are always assumed to be augmented to the maximum power points that the manifesterlevel of the psilike abilities allows. That is not done in the Eberron books. For example the Dream Master Quori(MoE) has the ability to use Mind Thrust at will at Manifesterlevel 12. The augmentation would mean that the Mind thrust should to 12d10 damage and that the DC should be 16+cha mod.

What is your opinion about this? Was there already a clarification somewhere? Do you think that the CR of the Quori should be increased if their psilike abilities are augmented?

04-27-07, 12:14 PM It was an editing mistake. Check our Hellcow's thread over in general on Quori, he touches on the issue. Simply put, yes, they should be auto augmented.

04-27-07, 12:26 PM Just as a note, I talked to Stephen Schubert, the minis manager, and he agreed that the quori's abilities should have been augmented on the minis card. He pointed out that the advanced quori that appears in Eyes of the Lich Queen has properly augmented PLAs.
