Reading the text, I am a bit confused about the first level substitution. At first level, a normal druid receives an animal companion, Nature Sense, and Wild Empathy. The Shifter Druid Racial Substitution receives Beast Spirit. Reading Beast Spirit, it says that it replaces the Animal Companion class feature, but nothing is mentioned of Nature Sense nor Wild Empathy. Are these features substituted, as well, or are they granted because the text does not say that they are lost? |
