here's what i need:
lvl 7 shifter that has the feat track and will eventually become a weretouched master

if i wanted to be a weretouched master, WITH the track feat, (my dm wants me to have track) what classes should i choose?

should i barbarian/weretouched with the feat track?

or should i take some ranger levels?

which would benefit me in the long run?

(in addition, what kind of weapons should a shifter have?)

edit:
also i plan on being a tiger, and i am also having trouble with the trait choice. beasthide then razorclaw? or just razor claw? im so stumped

Gamerkim28,

While I like the barbarian idea a lot better than a ranger you'll want to be a ranger if you're intent on being a weretouched master. Because as a part of it's requirement you'll need K. Nature 5 ranks.

I'd suggest using a longbow as your weapon of choice. (Choose Archer Combat Style with your Ranger Class levels) Because you want to be a tiger type you'll probably want to spend all your feats on razorclaw feats in order to maximize the gains. Start with Razorclaw Trait. Then for your first level trait take Shifter Ferocity believe me the "extra" hit points helps and you'll need the shifter feats. Then stack on Healing Factor at level three and Great Rend at level six. Then when you become a weretouched master you'll be primed to take the appropriate bonus as a Tiger. You'll be ferocious from both a distance and up close this way!

I hope this helps!

I like that and maybe also add on some levels of fighter for extra feats like those in the Complete Warrior for ranged weapons.

Gamerkim28,

Well with this build you'll be a 5th level Ranger 2nd level Weretouched Master. You'll probably want to finish off the rest of the prestige class and ride it out all the way to level ten. After level ten you'll probably want to stick it out in Ranger to gain some of the upper level abilities such as Swift Tracker not to mention some spells and a better animal companion. But if you're pure concern is combat Barbarian does provide the extremely useful +10 base movement speed at level one.

Now i forget if the waretouched master give you the shape shifting sub-class but if it does there is the war shifter in the complete warior that gives you all kinds of goodies.:D
