I know I need Persona Immersion to get in there, and I get two extra 'change-y' feats because of Trickster, but what are some other good suggestions for feats for this type of character? I'm looking mainly at PHB, PHBII, ECS, RoE, CAdv, and CSco. Thanks in advance! |
| korcheck04-04-07, 06:24 PM | Dude, you starting a character at 20? you're missing all the best stuff of eberron if you are. as for your question alot of the stuff in RoE is great I don't have my books on me right now to help further but you might also try some bard feats they are useful like the extra bardic music feat. |
| ohako7904-04-07, 10:05 PM | oh no, definitely not starting at 20, that's just where I might end up. Bardic music feats, you say? Might not be a bad idea, because bardic music is eventually going to be pretty limited. |
| Warforged Goblin04-05-07, 10:54 AM | A lot of the stuff in Complete Scoundrel is exactly what you're looking for. |
| Cifer04-05-07, 05:42 PM | Though it may seem somewhat silly: What character are you going to play? Until now, we basically know that he will be able to impersonate anyone. What would you like to do then? Stick to a few well-developed personas or shed them like... things you shed very quickly? And what kind of campaign are you going to play? |
| ohako7904-06-07, 07:31 AM | Weell, I don't really have the whole _campaign_ thing lined up yet. So, how the character behaves/reacts...::shrug:: Bardic music feats (plus Extra Music) doesn't sound like such a bad idea, because I'm going to have access to so few bardic music abilities from class. I'll also take a look through Complete Scoundrel for more ideas. |
| goblin_pride04-06-07, 07:36 AM | So you're plotting the lifespan of a character all the way to level 20 without even knowing what sort of campaign you're going to play it in? And I thought I had a munchkin in my group. Yeah, yeah, powergamer, whatever. You might want to actually talk to the DM and see what his ideas are for the game are before you start making a character for it. |
| Cifer04-06-07, 07:29 PM | @Goblin Now, I wouldn't be that harsh - I, too, designed most of my artificer before knowing what campaign exactly would be played and I don't really think there will be that much in the campaign to change my plans, since pure artificer with Heir of Syberis intermixed isn't that exotic (even if his future plans are reuniting Cannith, possibly with himself at the top... oh well, a man can dream - if only my dreams were not offering help to me...). I'd call that enthusiasm instead of powergaming. |
