Stealing spells [Archive] - Wizards Community

05-05-07, 12:53 AM My roommate is finally getting around to starting a new campaign and I talked him into letting me play a spellthief from Complete Adventure. It's written that a spellthief can steal any 0 or 1st level spell from the target. My question is does this also include divine spells? I don't see where it really distinguishes between arcane or divine. What are your thoughts??

05-05-07, 09:37 AM The text of spell stealing makes no distinction between arcane and divine casters, so I'd say yes, you could steal divine spells.
