Subrace stats [Archive] - Wizards Community

05-20-07, 11:41 AM Do the subraces of the base races get any new stats? do talenta halflings get any bonuses to dinos, or do they get stat bumps/ slashes? same with other subraces. I am new to this campaign.

05-20-07, 07:17 PM Talenta halflings are not a sub-race of halflings. They are just halflings who have remained with their original way of life, as opposed to joining the human civilisation of Khorvaire.
There are no racial differences, but they treat some cultural exotic weapons as martial.

Likewise with Valenar elves. Valenar has only existed for 40 years as a nation separate from the Aerenal elf nation. Different weapon proficiencies, but all the same racial traits.

The only sub-race with an official existence in Eberron are the Drow, who live in savage tribes in the jungles of Xen'drik, worshipping a scorpion-god.

Having said that, the Players guide to Eberron has some information about how to integrate a few of the other sub-races into Eberron. Along with Races of Eberron, it also contains many cultural feats that emphasise some of the unique features of different cultures of races.
