| Kamikaze Chicken07-18-07, 12:22 PM | The swift blade is a new PrC that can be found on the wizards site if you search for it. I am wondering how people see this being use din eberron? Personally i think warforged could get some good use out of this, also I have one build working for a windright captain who also has levels in swift blade. let me know what you all think. KAMIKAZE! :chicken: out. |

The class was mentioned several weeks ago, and there 7 others listed since then. Moving on... I personally tend to avoid limiting class mechanics to any single organization or type of flavor. In my campigns, Swift Blades could be from any attitude or culture that promotes blend of melee (not necessarily with a sword or blade) and arcane casting focusing on speed and mobility. To this end, I would see the class very attractive to members of House Orien and Lythandar, given their themes of swift travel. Members of House Dennith, Tharashk, Phialarn, and Turrani might also find its abilities useful. After that, perhaps those that rely more on speed and skirmishing tactics: Goblins from Darguun, Halflings and Gnomes, and Valenar Elves would all have some Swift Blades amongst their numbers. Amongst others, I see it as being less common or generally lauded, although Ive nothing against individuals taking up the class. |
