Read thru Savage Progressions, enjoyed the "Level-Adjusted Races" (by Sean K Reynolds 2/13/04) and I spotted possible loop-hole for allowing template use. (Please see article, i don't want to break copyright and can't add link yet.) Half-Fey Template Class specifically mentions that it "could be acquired through other means ... study fey magic and dwell in sylvan places ... and a few actually do manage to acquire the half-fey template. Such beings can advance in the half-fey template class..." IMHO since the requirements seem to be just intense study of fey magic and being immersed in a fey setting, then (exceptional) WF can apply themselves through this loophole. Instead of delving into their construct heritage (think of Juggernaught prestige class) they might go the other direction and further enhance the living aspect of themselves by emulating the fey. Unusual, yes. But possible ... perhaps? :) |

Fitting it to the setting, however, is another matter. The Greensingers druid sect is by far the most likely connection, but they're probably going to want a demonstration of good faith (and maybe actual faith, by way of initiation into their sect) before they start instructing the warforged that deeply in their secrets. |
