Valenar Cleric domains [Archive] - Wizards Community

03-21-07, 12:47 PM Hello, I was planning on playing a Valenar cleric in an upcoming game, a Keeper of the Past who went wandering in search of a way for the Valenar elves to vent their aggressive impersonations of their warrior ancestors in a way that didn't cause innocent bloodshed, and I was thinking that the Keepers might/should have different domains than the Aerenal Undying Court. War would be a definite must-have, I think, but I'm lost for ideas for any others.

03-21-07, 01:47 PM There's also an entry in Faiths of Eberron, though I can't remember if the dragonshard had the "Revered Ancestor" domain.

03-22-07, 07:08 AM On a related note... do you think it would make sense if individual priests who worship specific ancestors existed; rather like one can be a cleric of Onatar instead of the entire Sovereign Host? Much like with the Host, it would be rarer to worship a single 'member' rather than the 'pantheon' of the Spirits of the Past as a whole. In this case, one could chose whatever domains are most appropriate to the ancestor in question, with DM approval and a good idea who the ancestor was, of course.
