Captain_Kobold 01-09-08, 11:57 AM	I believe that Psychometabolism powers are considered Transmutation effects in magic terms. Unless you can get a chatacter immune to transmutation effects, you should be fine.
JulesCARV 01-09-08, 01:05 PM	Usually, such things are phrased not as "conjuration (healing)," but as "the healing subschool." Some healing psychometabolism powers -- such as body adjustment -- are "psychometabolism (healing)." Others -- such as empathic transfer -- are just plain psychometabolism. I would consider psychometabolism (healing) to be of the healing subschool, even though as a matter of jargon one might claim it's a subdiscipline rather than a subschool. Now, if your feat says "immune to conjuration (healing)," then certainly it doesn't have any effect on psionics at all. If it says "immune to the healing subschool," then psionics still work totally, if you interpret "subschool" as being distinct from "subdiscipline." If you interpret them as being the same, though, then psionics sometimes works, and sometimes doesn't, depending on the power.

I always thought the full description included spell-like abilities. So for instance, Cure spells as cast by someone with the Mark of Healing, which are spell-like abilities (like Psionics are), would also only heal a Warforged for half. Given the greater prominence of Psionic material in Eberron though, I don't think they would obviously overlook the potential use of Psionic powers to heal Warforged.

Yeah this is correct way (I think), altough body adjustement could easily extend to repairing for warforged because you kind of 'fix' yourself using this power; whether it's living tissue or not should not really matter, you 'mending' yourself. Usually, healing spells make use of positive energy to repair living tissues, but this seems a bit different. However, from the spelling of the rules, Body Adjustement should only heal half the value. ...which are spell-like abilities (like Psionics are)... What :confused:

Belabras 01-10-08, 12:00 PM	Please note that if you are using Touch of Life or Body Adjustment to heal your 'forged, you are overlooking the absolutely fantastic Psionic Repair Damage (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/psionic/powers/psionicRepairDamage.htm). It is the pimp daddy of Psionic healing options for warforged.
