Leave immediately." Anyways, this foe can be put into any ancient dungeon with great effect. Its docent component gives it mental acuity that it otherwise lacks, and they were probably designed together by the builders of the dungeon. In combat, it prefers to perform full Power Attack and charge with Leap Attack, and then use Knockback, superior bull rush, and dungeon crasher to deal heavy damage. If a foe has a troublesome item, it performs a charging sunder on it (its adamantine fists help), and then uses Sundering Cleave to crush the foe holding the item, and also use Knockback to throw the foe back again. Most of the strategies this warforged uses are due to the docent component; the warforged almost always obeys her without question. Anyways, who would be the best builders of this guardian? I had considered the quori, but their warforged were mindless. It probably wasn't constructed in the present day, because the docent was built specifically for it. And I've got vague nagging objections in the back of my mind to the giants or the drow building it. |

Actually can you give a general idea of what the warforged is guarding, it'd help give ideas to who built him. It was actually something I just came up with, combining the Dungeon Crasher ability with the Warforged Juggernaut abilities. I added the docent because it was something I could put on an NPC for that price. I'm not even running a game, I'm just throwing this out for the fun of it. But yeah, I actually like the idea of the Lord of Blades commanding it, but if I were running it, I would have the LoB not know about the docent. This would make the charger's loyalty torn between LoB and the docent, and all sorts of fun things could happen. |
| LoneStranger05-06-07, 04:27 AM | Sounds like a plan to me, and it could be that the LoB didn't know about the docent at the time. The Warforged could've found it later on and installed it. |
