If I took 5 levels of the PRC Warforged Juggernaut, could I still be buffed by a wizard? Currently I am playing a Forged Crusader and am looking to go into 5 lvls of Juggs. We are playing the age of Worms campaign and I thought it would be useful to not be affected by any neg energy attks/spells or ability loss attks/spells. Plus it should be fun to roleplay the big, cold warrior. Our group only consists of a rog, wiz, pal, and druid, plus myself.

I wouldn't see why you couldn't be buffed by the same spells your wizard is using at the moment.

The only possible exception would be buff that grants moral bonus, which are mind-affecting effects to which you are immuned.

So yes, he could be buffed normally.

Let's get specific -- he can get buffed by any spells that aren't Necromancy, that aren't Conjuration (Healing), and that aren't Mind-Affecting.

Enlarge person does not work on *any* Warforged (Juggernaut or not) because Warforged are Constructs, not Humanoids. Any spell that says "X Person" only works on Humanoids.

The only size-expanding spells for WF I can think of are Personal-range that you'd have to cast yourself (the psionic power expansion, the Cleric spell righteous might, etc.)

Wrong! Warforged are Humanoid(Living Construct). Now the WJ PrC might give you the construct type, I'm AFB, but I don't sem to think so. I mean really, Constructs lose Constitution. I think I'd remember that.

No, Warforged are Construct with Living Construct as a subtype, unless there has been an errata I missed. They cannot be targeted by enlarge person.

Correct. And I am looking at my book now just to verify. Yup, Construct with Living Construct subtype.

Yeah, worforged aren't peeps and can't be enlarged as peeps. Pay attention to mind affecting too and not just morale thingies ... there are other mind affecting things that would be awesome to do, but sadly don't work (Share Pain / Vigor come to mind ...)

Bake your noodle on what alter self / change self does with a warforged if you want ...

Animated coffee table?

Who needs a Warforged to have an Animated coffee Table. Just Permenent and Animate object then cast Awaken Construct. Now you don't just have a Table the moves, you have one that will kick someone in the shin when they don't use a something to keep the coffee rings off of it.

My point was if they are constructs and you can change into something of the same type ...

Well as long as the buff isn't polymorph or something mind effecting its fine, but I as a sm might just rule that certain things shouldn't effect you.
