One of the stories in the Tales of the Last War introduced kobolds modified with warforged parts, such as arms and legs. I would like to throw some of those at my players. Should I use the Construct Graft rules from Faiths of Eberron or is there something better out there I'm not thinking of?
Thanks.

Yeah. Use 'forged grafts or the Half-Golem template from MM2.

Yup, Warforged Grafts, Faiths of Eberron.

I think KB mentioned a while back that he had the Half-Golem template in mind. (Since Faiths of Eberron hadn't been written at the time, there were no construct grafts.)

This accounts for the madness the experiment subjects suffer from as well.

The half-golem template is what causes them to freak out and if it were the actual warforged grafts they'd be fine?
If that's the case then maybe they started with the half-golem type of grafts first. Then they began the warforged grafts right before the day of mourning. Not many of the non-crazy kobold-borgs but enough to give my players some headaches. =)

However, each time you replace a limb, you have to make a save to keep from losing your mind. The more limbs you replace, the harder the save becomes. So, you might get lucky and become almost entirely a golem without any ill effects, or you could go insane on the very first one.
