Weretouched Master [Archive] - Wizards Community

02-10-08, 03:56 PM Had a question about the Weretouched Master PC.

The shifter in our game is about to go 5th level on Weretouched Master, which will allow them to polymorph into the Hybrid Form (his is tiger, so he's getting +12 Str and all the rest of the benefits).

Can a shifter in hybrid form still perform a "shift"?

02-10-08, 04:13 PM I do not think so I believe that it is in the errata for the ebberon cam manual. Do not feel bad I thought the same thing, oh and one other thing it is not a at will effect you have you use 2 of your daily shifts to activate I foget the duration though.

The WTM as written in the ECS is a bit broken without it.

I am breathing a sigh of relief! I'm the DM in the group, and its bad enough that I've got a Changeling Rogue 5/Sorcerer 1/Fighter 2/Shadowdancer 1 that I can never seem to hit (always hiding and sniping with sneak attack damage), the Shifter Ranger/WTM was dangerous enough with two weapon fighting and Pounce!

The thought of an additional 12 points of strength was giving me nightmares, as we just reached 10th level this week.

I am breathing a sigh of relief! I'm the DM in the group, and its bad enough that I've got a Changeling Rogue 5/Sorcerer 1/Fighter 2/Shadowdancer 1 that I can never seem to hit (always hiding and sniping with sneak attack damage), the Shifter Ranger/WTM was dangerous enough with two weapon fighting and Pounce!

The thought of an additional 12 points of strength was giving me nightmares, as we just reached 10th level this week.

I got 2 shifters that will real guve you nightmare's

it has 5lvl's in the following; ranger, Weretouched master, Reachrunner, and scout

the next one has 5lvl's in the following; Rouge , scout, reachrunner, and Dread Commando.

If that does not do it for you imagen a squad of 8 shifter's that have 5lvl's in any 4 of the above core classes or PRC's

Now think of them with teamwork benfits, like cunning ambush and the improved variant. That will give a army some serious trouble. Yes these where inspired by the heroes of battle and our US ranger devision's.

Not much can top thoes guy's
