Hideous Phidias 05-11-07, 02:33 AM	Warmage are good if you want to be a blaster mage or if you are multiclassing. Wizards and sorcerers get a more wide range of spells but the question is a player what type of spells do you use. I Personaly like the idea playing a warmage in Eberron. The Last War would have made them more common the i other campaign settings. But you may also want to look at the warlock if you are looking for a good Blaster. They never run out of arcane energy like other casters and can have a large range of effects and skills then a warmage.

Tevin Kevlak 05-14-07, 12:14 AM	The Warmage is actually a much better blaster than the Warlock. Warlocks have warmages beat with versatility (if you choose your invocations carefully) but their Eldritch Blast cannot stand up to some of the spells available to a Warmage. Sudden Maximized Poison for 10 points of Con Damage? Yes, please.
