| KeyThief07-23-07, 09:43 PM | Greetings I DM for a group of very imaginative players who have recently purchased an airship. The airship is 50' wide, 160' long, 50' tall DR fire 10 (which seems standard in airship descriptions that I have seen). For certain reasons relating to the story, they want to upgrade from DR fire 10 to maybe 15 or 20. My question is: how much would this cost? Is there even a formula for this? And would you let this sort of upgrade be available after a ship is built, or make it only be available at its creation? |

An air elemental would give electricity resistance, etc. As for increasing it....maybe check out the stronghold builders guide. That has some nifty ideas for enhancing/modifying structures/walls/special abilities/etc. DocB :88E: vs :coolcthul Who shall prevail? |

I'd recommend being VERY careful with the pricing though, and allow yourself the ability to exercise "override" capability on what the book says stuff costs. It's balanced for 3.0 and not 3.5. Compare what you can do with the 'move through earth' function and compare that to the item in MoE that allows you to tunnel and see how much cheaper it is in SBG. |
