Artificer Specific Items [Archive] - Wizards Community

Items that help out artificiers and artificers specifically.

I got the ones from the DMG, ECS, and Magic of Eberron. Are there anymore?

Magic of Eberron and Player´s Guide to Eberron has more to do with artificer items, since Magic Item´s Compendium is core, not Eberron-specific.

Magic of Eberron and Player´s Guide to Eberron has more to do with artificer items, since Magic Item´s Compendium is core, not Eberron-specific.

The MIC has several items that involve using infusions to get more use out of the item, which only an Artificer can do as far as I know, so not just core. Player's guide, though very informative in general, has only one Artificer specific item, the Monocle. I would definately say getting it is a good idea for Eberron knowledge, but if the OP is just looking for items, them the MIC is the better buy in my opinion.

09-29-07, 07:39 AM Well I think this all depends on how the OP plays his artificer. Is it a general artificer, a blastificer, a meleeficer? Did the OP read the unofficial artificer's guide (you can find in the class board)? There's alot of handy tips that can be found in there.

I don't know if this could help, but here's how my 4th level gnome artificer is geared. In a team of mainly fighters, he's a 50-50 blastificer-buffificer

masterworked bandoleer (great to store wands, tools and daggers), potion-storing belt, infinite scrollcase (stores 50 scrolls and it's always the one you want you find first), 10 scrolls lvl-0 and 10 lvl-1, alchemist fire, sunrods, smokesticks, bull strenght potion, mithril breastplate, crossbow, heavy steel sheild, heavy mace, haversack.

I use spell storing for a few things like storing magecraft in my tools to craft items, or infusing money for nasty spells that comes right from your pockets.
