Does anyone have access to this issue? I'm interested in the shadow-flavored feats and would like to know more about them (perhaps a synopsis of what they do). I'm in the process of building a character who is extremely shadow-themed and would like to know more about them.

Thanks in advance!

About the most anyone could do is tell you "Yeah, I saw it. They're really cool." At the most, they could give you a rough description of the general affects (along the lines of "It gives you a bonus to attack while in the shadows"), but nothing that could be used for actual mechanics.

Dragon is not open source material, hence everything in it is copyrighted. Anybody posting up enough information on those feats that you could use them would possibly be committing a crime (copyright infringement), and would definately get yelled at by the WizOs, as that sort of thing is specifically a no-no around here, if its technically legal or not.

snb is just asking for a synopsis, presumably to see if it's worth the effort to backorder a copy of Dragon 330. There's nothing wrong about a synopsis.

The article in question is about the Umbragen drow, and all the feats in that article are racial feats. If you're not interested in playing an Umbragen (though you might be, they are awesome shadow-themed drow), you either won't be interested in the article, or have to hope your DM is willing to bend the rules in your favor. The feats also require use of "shadow shifts," which you get from the new feat, Shadow Shift. It gives you a bonus to hide and disguise a certain number of times per day. The other feats provide a range of abilities from being untrackable by scent to casting silent spells without raising the spell level. One of the feats is made especially for warlocks. :)

True that.

Anyway, 330 is one of my favorite issues. I love all the Far Realm stuff in it.

The Umbragen article is cool both on the level of introducing a unique kind of Drow and all the top notch fluff and mechanics for them. Unsuprising, really, considering it's one of KB's articles. The short story lead in to the Mark of Death trilogy and the Far Realm stuff are top notch as well.

#330 actually came out last year. Your best bet is to go to paizo.com and order that issue if you want it.
