Can someone tell me what the deal is with this feat. It's called something like "Master of the Sun and the Moon" or something to that effect, deals with I think Quickening Positive and Negative energy Spells for Clerics. I've seen a few references to it, but can not seem to find the feat itself. I believe it is in Magic of Eberon, but it may be in Faiths of Eberron.

Sounds third party or like a Class ability but it is not in the Feat index.

Could it have possibly been one of the planar spellcasting feats in the Player's Guide to Eberron?

The only reference I have to something like that is an alternate class feature for wizards from dungeonscape (P14). It allows you to memorize more spells and cast them under certain specific circumstances. More I can't tell you under the CoC.

I can't think of anything even remotely like that in Eberron.
Closest I can come is the Moonspeaker PrC, but thats not even close.

Well the closest I can end up is name wise with the name of the monk ability "tongue of the sun and the moon" but that just lets you speak to and understand everyone you meet who use a language...

Mastery of Day and Night; Players Guide to Eberron, page 125

I strongly recommend that DMs make use of the information on manifest spellcasters if they want to introduce these feats into a game. They're an interesting concept, but I wouldn't have done it quite this way if I were writing sourcebooks. The problem, IMO, is that the fluff presents the thirteen potent feats as extremely difficult to gain access to. But the rules simply present them as feats, without even a "at DM's discretion" to support the supposed difficulty in learning them.

In the case of "Mastery of Day and Night", it allows you to maximize the effects of cure and inflict spells spontaneously, at no increased cost, whenever and forever. The prerequisites make it possible to get at 3rd level.

I like these feats, but would never allow a player to choose them. One might be the reward for some major achievement, and it would tie into the concept of the campaign I granted it in

Wow rarely have so many of us failed out Knowledge Eberron checks at once, I completely forgot about that entire section of the PGtE.

Hey how are we suppose to know that it was Day and Night instead of Sun and Moon? You can't expect us to guess random word changing on a lack luster feat like this. But at least we all know were it is now.
