Does this mean that it is treated as a one-handed weapon IF I choose not to use both ends in the round? I'm hoping to duel-wield two of them so I can choose between having two bludeoning attacks or two slashing attacks each round. |

The Monk's Spade is about the size of a quarterstaff or a shortspear if sized for a medium creature: http://www.kungfu-taichi.com/resources/en/videos/1565_preview.jpg A large creature wielding a Monk's Spade sized for a medium creature will most likely be able to hold the spade in one hand & will only benefit from bludgeoning or slashing attacks. |
