This method can be added to any material or weapon buy it has to be done at time od creation. The special effects are as follows it is treated as a weapon with the blessed weapon enhancement aa well as bane to evil outsiders, lycanthrpoes, and undead, it is also treated as silver, in adition to the material that the meathod was used on. It also reqs that you add 1 lb of silver burn per hour of work to the forge for every hour of work. Ex. Silver Flame Forged, Shift Silver Kukri would cost 5508gp to forge with a dc of 35. In addition to the price of the silver burn used in the forge which is 80gp per hour, 640gp per 8 hours(one days work), 4480gp per week If you are wondering yes i paly a Silver Flame worshiping shifter who loves kukries and the tiger claw style Note: I am thinking about droping the bane effect either that or uping the dc. Another thought i had was to up the dc by 5 or 10 if you smith is makeing a maste work weapon and adding the bane their or if it leav the bane effect where it is and add firece bane at the materwork lvl. My reasoning for my maddness is this. I thought that if a weapon is forged in some thing like a part of the silver flame that it might impart some of its power into the weapon, but it would be very hard to do this so it thought to my self that this would very likley req someone with great knowlege of the flame and might be able to use that knowlege to keep the flames a the right amount of holy enegry for this to work. This is reflective of how japanese sword smiths judge the temp of the metal by looking at the color of the steel. Enjoy:D |

There's no reason why these amazing weapons created by clerics of the silver flame aren't exposed to the silver flame in Flamekeep upon completion to give them their magical properties. However, it would cost the same and be created the same as a normal magic weapon. It's much easier and also much less likely to be abused if you tailor flavor to mechanics than mechanics to flavor. |
| LunarWolfPrime01-15-08, 08:37 PM | Sorry about that dude I knew iwas leving some thing out. But with this additon to the prices of the silver burn I am seriously considering adding in the firece bane effect onthe master work version, due to the fact that if you do the calcilations on my example above after the price of the silver burn it makes over all price of production 20,000+ gp which if you add up all of the effects in qusetion there is over 5,000 extra gp that you pay useing the regular enchanting techs. |
| Kinger01-16-08, 12:48 PM | Sorry, hold up. Let's look at this. You have a weapon with 3 different Banes on it, for a start. If that's even possible, then your weapon is already +4 (including the base +1 to enchant it otherwise). Then there's this "Blessed" bit, which as far as I can tell would make the weapon count as Good and auto-confirm critical hits against evil foes. Let's just make that a +1 for now. So, that's a +5 weapon. Those cost 50,000 gp in addition to being masterwork and of any special materials. I think you need to work on this a bit more. |
| LunarWolfPrime01-16-08, 08:41 PM | I was thinking about makeing it to where you needed the aid of a lvl 20 pal and cleric, but the pal need that lay of hands feat that does silver damge I do not remeber the name of it, the cleric needs to use a turn undead use each day this weapon is forged same for the lay of hands to. To get their aid it could req ???????gp per day or week in adition to a deplomacy check of ??dc to get them to help in the first place, I do not know right now. Oh and on the topic blessed weapons yes they are +1s take look in crystal keep. On a difrent note, yes that is also where I found the Shifte Silver too. Any other ideas are very well welcome it is just i am trying to make a dificult to make and very expensive weapon forgeing method to be the ultimate weapon for the Silver Flame that could actual still have some room for customization to the warior of the flame that has some sortof tie to the flame its self in a sense. Sorry if i caused any trouble. |
