What do you think of putting the lost room objects as magic/psionic/other items to use.

But of course use ordinary objects from the same setting.
Like instead of a ball point pen>a quill.
what do u think good or bad

If it is a good idea can I have some help composing a list of objects and maybe powers of them as well.

So how would it work.

They of course would be idestructable.

How would they be created? The same way as the series? a inn splits in reality? a new kind of manifest zone that only exisists in an extra dimensional space that doesn't implode if another extra dimensional spaces?

And of course all the items would be soley on Khorvaire due to the fact that they attract each other.

WAIT the day of mourning? One or a couple or all of the homes in Cyre split from reality making various items only the non magical.

Maybe a home with a powerful magic that protects it created a barrier in reality but was still destroyed.

I've introduced legends about the key into my game, the players will find it within a few game sessions. The key was formed when in some manner or another (I know, but the players might not) when the golden city of the giants vanished from the face of the world during the dragon caused xendrik apocalypse. I think it will be really cool for the party to have the item, no to mention the enemies they make by simply having it. For the other objects however I don't think all of them would translate well, like the eye, scissors, or clock.

The comb is a comb of time spot or temporal acceleration, and the bus ticket is a limited teleport item, etc.

I think it will make for a cool game.

The Clock I think would be bad for anything but specific quests like taking down brass doors or poisoning someone with a clock and some brass and a closed room.

and the scissors of course would be a pain to create rules for. but I'd include them for flavor or combining them with other objects.

I also had the idea of converting Xiaolin Showdown Shen Gong Wu, and Jackie Chan adventure talismans.

the bus ticket could be a lightning rail ticket or an airship ticket.
Lightning rail if the event happened on Khorvaire, and Airship if it happened on Khorvaire or Xen drik.

So a cabin-hotel room on the backroads of Cyre get's uber-whammied. All the items in the 1 room cabin get the indistructable trait added, each has a power of varying degrees of potency and usefullness. When you have more items the powers grow and new combination powers are made.

The key- when used in any door opens into the cabin. from the cabin you can open the door into any doorway you have at least passing knowledge of.
The Cabin- With the key you can go from the cabin to any location known to you. When the cabin it left it resets. any Items are moved to their Proper location in the room. any nonItems are removed- tossed into the void between worlds.....sounds vestigey to me. Hi Binders.
The Quill-when the tip is placed upon a creature they must make a fort save Dc20 to avoid disintigration.
The Inkwell-any creature drawn with the ink from this well is summoned for 1d20 turns. any ink can be used, it must 1st be poured into the well and then used. If drawn using The Quill- creatures are perminately summoned and totally inthralled to the users service.
The Lightningrail Ticket- any subject touching this ticket is sent to a dusty and deserted road in central Cyre.....
The Glass Eye- allows user to use true resurrection 1/dayand cast slay living 1/day. to use the user must remove their eye and replace it with the Glass Eye.
some of the can be left as is but others might need tweeking plus there are several that have no power listed......

Nail File- Sleep to anyone within 30ft, must be done in lighted area.
Flask- Can use Crisis of Breath, as power on a subject.
Eyeglasses- gives a 20 fire resistance to all area within 20ft radi.
WatchBox- when open has continual gentle repose in a 10 meter radi.
whats 10 meters translate into ft?
Pencil*- creates a copper pieces, 6d4 per round as a limited true creation.
Pocket knife+Wristwatch-Detect thoughts

*I personally like the pencil, but do they have pencils in Eberron?
The pencil means no more fiddling around with loose change.
In a village or lower sharn like areas the pencil would be awesome.
It would pay for meals or lodging and even some other cheaper items.

Imagine these guys as pennies.:thumbsdow

I think slay living 1/day makes sense but true resurrection not so much

the eye can heal flesh of the owner and maybe others? Maybe a cure serious wounds at 20th lv and can designate self or another living creature a couple of times per day I'll say 3/day

comb- as a standard action it casts temporal acceleration, but can only used 3 times in a hour before becoming so nauseated that you vomit.

Slay living 1/day isn't enough if you want to stay directly with the show. When used it destroyed two whole groups of men completely, so some sort of mass disintegration's would be more accurate. Also it should provide the user some form of regeneration. However, your version is balanced as an artifact, the real eye is a game breaker.

Is that a real tower that disappeared in Eberron?
Where is tower 312? Is that a sharn tower? or something?

Yes that is a very great way of an adventure hook. But if I could change it alittle how about it appears in pieces. and/or in an area it never would be very out of place.

like on a lake which strangly has become very solid around the base of it(not frozen just solid). or like a reverse crater that is floating in a like or mid air, and is been ruined.
