| iKitten08-08-06, 12:10 AM | 2. Watching the look on their faces when they realize I pulled yet another variation of my theme of designing plots based on Smokey and the Bandit. |
| Nived08-08-06, 02:00 AM | 3. Wherever they are camping just happens to be a manifest zone, and the plane officially becomes coterminous at 3 am. Also someone wants to use power from said plane for some nafarious plan. Poor PCs wake up on another plane caught in a battle they don't understand. Generally best used if the PCs just up and ignored every plothook you threw at them. |

| Endless_Helix08-08-06, 07:43 PM | 5. Permanency an illusion spelll of a laughing clown over the PC's. 6. After said occurance, have the PC's put in a madhouse. 7. After said occurance, have the PC's attempt to break out of the madhouse. 8. Attack the PC's with their own intestines. |
| Madhouse08-09-06, 11:38 AM | There is no escaping the Madhouse!!!! <insert maniacal laughter here> ...ahem... One of my favourite things to do to players is change up clichés on them. Example: The Rogue finds a false book in the bookcase. It's hinged at the bottom, allowing the book to be swung out from the top, like a lever. The Rogue starts to do so, looking around to see where the inevitable secret door will spring open. There's a click and a poisoned dart shoots out from the space behind the false book and hits the Rogue in the back of the neck. Did I mention that the poison induces uncontrollable laughter? Imagine how hard it is for a Rogue to do anything sneaky while trying to stifle an irrepressible case of the giggles. :D Cheers! |
