| sh012-23-04, 10:01 PM | I thought this could be a fun thread.... So, what would the 7 wonders be? I'll offer a few suggestions.. Sharn The monoliths of Argonesson dwarf lord Mror monument in Ironroot Mountains |
| Euangelion12-23-04, 10:24 PM | Starpeaks Observatory White Arch Bridge (destroyed 899 YK) |
| darkthought12-23-04, 10:48 PM | The Floating Towers of Sharn The Gray Mists of the Mournland (I'd say some of the stuff INSIDE the mournland, but who in their right mind would want to go in for sight seeing?) Dragon Graveyard in the Talenta Plains |
| The White Sorcerer12-24-04, 03:39 AM | Shouldn't there be 13 Wonders of Eberron, one of which has been destroyed (most likely something in old Cyre)? |
| Gez12-24-04, 04:04 AM | Just flipping through the main book, here are 8. The whole city of Sharn. The Dragon Statues of Argonessen. Mror's Head in the Ironroot mountains. The Library of Korranberg. Argonth, the mobile fortress. Sentinel Tower in Karlakton. The Great Monoliths of Riedra. |
| Selkie_Guardian12-24-04, 04:33 AM | How about the towers of Arcantrix, the Lair of the Keeper, The Lake of Fire, The Sentinal Tower, The Glass Plateau, Haka'torvhak, and Flamekeep/the chamber of the flame. |
| Verse12-24-04, 05:16 AM | Well most of the ones I've thought of have been mentioned but surely there should be a Wonders list, a Wonders of the Natural World, and for the Mournlamds mostly a Wonders of the Un Natural world. obvious;y 13 of each with one destroyed/eaten by purple worms etc... |
| Gez12-24-04, 07:09 AM | How about the towers of Arcantrix, the Lair of the Keeper, The Lake of Fire, The Sentinal Tower, The Glass Plateau, Haka'torvhak, and Flamekeep/the chamber of the flame. I listed Sentinel Tower; and I said "here are 8", not "there are 8". |
| polt12-24-04, 07:21 AM | Isn't there more than one Great Monolith in Riedra? |
| Gez12-24-04, 09:02 AM | That, on the other hand, is a typo. I meant to type "monoliths", must not have hit the 's' key hard enough. |
| Edymnion12-24-04, 02:22 PM | And aren't there TWO mobile fortresses? |
| LewisLlynn12-24-04, 03:29 PM | Well, here on our own home planet, there are 7 Wonders of the Natural World in addition to 7 Wonders of the Ancient World. Therefore, it stands to reason that Eberron would have the same. With that in mind, here's my list: Wonders of the Ancient World -Riedran Monoliths -Dragonhead Statues -Silver Flame -Lord Mror Mountain Carving hmmm, that's all I've got right now. Wonders of the Natural World -Sharn Manifest Zone Geez, there aren't very many of these. Especially without my ECS in front of me.... |
| Gez12-24-04, 03:56 PM | And aren't there TWO mobile fortresses? :pbbbtt: There are? Well, the other isn't a wonder, then! :P |
| Edymnion12-24-04, 04:08 PM | There are?Yeah, the entry mentions there being two of them, but only goes into detail on one of them. |
| ieattrollsforbreakfast12-24-04, 04:29 PM | I think it would depend on which nation was writing it down. Afterall, I'm sure any Thrane, Aundarian, Karrn or Cyran would quickly point out Argonth isn't all that special, while Brels, Thranes, Karrans and Cyrans would point out that Arcanix isn't anything special. Here are some suggestions of what might make the list: -Dragon Totems (Seren) -The Guardian Trees (Eldeen Reaches) -Lord Mror Carving (Mror Holds) -Silver Flame -Sharn -Arcanix -Sentinel Tower -Ashtakala (Demon Wastes) -The Labyrinth -Boneyard (Talenta) -Library of Korranberg -Haka'torvak -The Dragon's Crown (Breland) -The Seven Caves (Darguun) -Fist of Onatar (Mror Holds) And the list goes on... |
