(NOTE: Please don't PM me about this -- what follows is the most I can really say on the matter. I don't make the rules, I just enforce them. :) ) Our policies prohibit discussing novels published by WotC, so please don't do it. I've been seeing a lot of these now that the Eberron books are out, but, again, please do not start these threads. This is not specifically covered by the CoC (yet -- I'm going to see if it can be added so this doesn't come up as much), but the policy came about some time ago because objectionable material was being posted to the novels forums with increasing frequency and the Powers That Be decided to put a stop to it by closing those forums. Essentially, as far as the rest of the boards are concerned, novels discussions are officially "off topic." (DISCLAIMER: I do not know all the details about said "objectionable material" or its ramifications because I wasn't moderating any of the boards in question, and even if I did I wouldn't really be able to explain them because of confidentiality agreements.) I know that doesn't explain much, but I hope it helps. Thank you.
