| Romulus LoneWolf03-16-07, 07:20 PM | Got Dungeonscape today, and reading through the "Functions of Dungeons" section, I saw the "Agent of Evil" campaign idea for dungeons, which works as follows: At the center of the world lies a physical embodiment of Evil, with portals to the Infernal planes and other horrid places, which try to crawl out from the depths to conquer the surface world. Now, reading that I instantly said to myself "Merciful Host, this is tailor-made for Eberron!" Eberron already is a world with a core of Evil trapped at it's center, filled with Fiends, Aberrations, Undead and Evil Cultists of all sorts. It's a short hop-and-a-skip from there to have the fiends of the Dragon Below create dungeons with Portals to Khyber at their heart. |

I imagine many an iner-sanctum of the most powerful members of Dragon Marked houses have wards and traps keyed to blast anyone not displaying a dragon mark of the appropriate type, ala the traps from Dungeonscape that can read arcane marks and target/not target creatures bearing the mark accordingly. :) |
