One of my characters is a rogue who wants to use poison, and I'd like to come up with a few cheaper and less combat-focused poisons than the ones in the DMG/SRD. What do people think of these:

Lily-silver: This is a highly concentrated extract of the drug Dreamlily, often used to tranquilize violent animals, or occasionally as a nonlethal means of bringing down fleeing criminals. It must be injected into the bloodstream.
Injury - DC 12 - 25gp
Initial Effect: If the target fails his Fortitude save, he is affected with Sleep for 1 minute as per the Sleep spell (including not working on anything with more than 4HD).
Secondary Effect: Sleep for 2d4 minutes.

Aryth Salts: These blue crystals are a potent anesthetic often used by healers. They are usually dissolved in water and fed to patients, but certain unsavory characters have been known to slip them into an unsuspecting person's wine.
Ingested - DC 14 - 50 gp
Initial Effect: If the target fails his Fortitude save, he is affected as if by the Lullaby spell for 1 minute.
Secondary Effect: Sleep (as the spell) for 2d4 x 10 minutes.

I'm also planning on using "Drow Knockout Poison" but changing the name to something a little more Eberron-ish. Maybe Thranish Nightshade. Which is:
Injury - DC 13 - 75gp
Initial Effect: Unonsciousness for 1 minute.
Secondary Effect: Unconsciousness for 2d4 hours.

Good overall. The only thing I would reconsider is the Lily-silver. If you're going for any verisimilitude, it will likely be quite a bit more expensive than that. I'm not with my books currently, but the price of a dose of Dreamlilly is surely more expensive than 25 gp. If this poison is a refined form of the Dreamlilly drug, then it would necessitate coster more gold due to the need for more drug and the refinement process. Likely at least 4-5 times the price of Dreamlilly. It should then have a higher DC to prove useful. So as a higher level drug, that would work well.

Hmm... that's true; I didn't think of that. I think I will probably just change it so that it's not based on dreamlily, rather than raise the price. I wanted a poison that was cheap but still useful, and thought tying it to Dreamlily would be a nice Eberron touch; but yeah, it would be more expensive then.

In that case, how about a raw and unrefined form of Dreamlilly? That would be cheaper.

Say that it is a plant related to the Dreamlily that is normally used as a animal tranqulizer by House Vadalis
