It's vastly exotic, seems evil to "civilized" people although not necessarily, has cool abilities and even its artwork screams "Tribal". Imagine the adventurers coming upon such a spellcaster while trekking the jungle and then a whole group of such casters. It's really great and something you don't see every day. I like it. How about you? |

| Neofish09-12-04, 01:23 PM | There Bone mages, but not necromancers, transmuters. there really neat, I also like the flux adept. |
| Silveron09-12-04, 01:45 PM | The osteomancer prestige class was presented in issue 317, March 2004 They are transmuters and not necromancers indeed. The class by its 1st level grants them immunity to disease which suits them perfectly for their environment, Xen'drik's fetid jungles. |

| Bubba33309-12-04, 04:04 PM | That was Dragon #317, right? |
| Vonton09-12-04, 09:43 PM | I like the comment in the article about an osteomancer's favorite trick is to sit at a bar and then fake a sneeze and immerdiately afterwards make all his bones dissappear. Thus, the local populace thinks he has some plague and clears out. I woudl love using that to get free beer. |
