I just wanted to get people to show MarkB that his efforst are appreciated. You're an unsung hero for creating the Keith Baker FAQ and I think you highly deserve accomidation and recognition. Thanks for all of that effort.

Seconded. Now if most people would just read/search through it before posting on the new ask keith thread....well, yeah.

Hm. Almost makes me want to make a webpage of Mark's thread with a search interface.. Eh. Lot of work...

Still tempting though. A full Eberron page referencing good posts, chats, suggestions...Hm.

Well, whatever and whatnot.

I third the motion.(Although I have been guilty of posting before checking the FAQ. :P )MarkB does an excellent job of maintaining the FAQ.He also seems to know what he's talking about most of the time. The FAQ is a lifesaver for someone new to the boards.(Like me. ;) )

Hee hee. I can see MarkB blushing all the way in England. Not that I know what he looks like.

Not only does he maintain the Ask Keith Baker FAQ, he also writes up the adventures he runs at his games; and practically gives them away for free, online no less! Errand of Mercy (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=368844) and Broken Bonds (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=449619), both complete with maps, DM notes, stated NPCs, tactics, even new items and creatures! Not to mention he has an uncanny way of making the mundane wreak havoc on parties of all kinds. I mean, anyone can cop out and use a Sympathy spell to attract swarms of locusts from the forest below... but a censer? :plotting:

Also, somebody has been reading my mind. An archive filled with links to useful discussions and debates reaching back to the founding of the forum? That was -my- project for the summer break! :P

:embarrass  Seriously, there isn't a smiley embarrassed enough. Thanks, guys.

(And with that praise, I'd better actually finish updating the AKB FAQ so that it's not lagging the thread by around ten pages).

I'll add to the thanks here. The work he's done has definitly made it easier to run a good Eberron game.

I'll jump on the band wagon as well. I'm currently making my way through the FAQ and culling interesting bits of information for use later. If it weren't for the FAQ I don't think I could wade through all of that info. Thanks MarkB!
