| Old Sage06-22-04, 10:56 PM | Since my original question appears to have been overlooked in the 'Ask Keith Baker' thread - Hellcow, I have a query about the development of the ideas surrounding the creation of dragonshards. In Dragon #320, in the "Developing Dragonshards" sidebar on pg. 82, Bill Slavicsek mentions the more mundane idea of a special source of magical power in Eberron being more like oil in our world. I'm currently developing a few alternate historical paths for the Dragonmarked Houses in my Eberron campaign, and this is something that could tie in well with some of my ideas. So, I was wondering what more you could tell me (if you're allowed of ocourse) about this "magical oil" idea? |

You're right behind the Horrid Animals question. I'll get to it in my next burst of answers. (You might say "in the time it's taken you to answer this, you could answer the question" -- but I feel the need to keep things focused on the one thread. I'll get to everything eventually.) |

I sent you a private message last week -- sorry if you didn't receive it. Unfortunately, under the NDA, I'm legally not supposed to discuss past ideas that have not been revealed, and this falls under that category -- so I can't answer the question after all. Sorry! |
