Hey there, I'm fairly new to DnD overall, but I've got a good DM who's helping he along. the only problem that we're seeming to have is, we cant find a random loot table adjusted for the new items in Eberron.

Seriously, my artificer has been holding out for a schema to randomly generate for ten levels before I realized they arent in the DnD DM table.

is there a list of changes or perhaps a complete ebberon loot table somewhere?

Not yet. Magic Item Compendium comes out next month and has expanded tables for generating magic items - but I don't know if items from the ECS are included.

Your DM may have to just get creative on this one.

Perhaps your DM should prepare important loot caches ahead of time, by using the GP amount & putting in eberron-centric items...

Further, you're an artificer... if you don't have the craft schema feat, ask your DM if you can hire a Cannith artificer who does. Then cooperate in the crafting. Recycle some of those useless useless items that MUST have popped up on random treasure rolls.

Most of the Eberron-specific magic items are a bit beyond the scope of random magic. As a result, their inclusion on the random magic item tables doesn't make much difference. A good DM will just add one if it would make sense for the NPC or creature to have one.

You can even go to the esoteric when giving foes items. Like finding that exotic goblin-hide hat you have always wanted. :D

I feel a great disturbance in the net, as if one goblin_pride had cried out in hatred and was suddenly silenced by his need to plan your slow and painful death...

In general, I don't like the random tables. They're fine for potions, but most other items should be handpicked, unless you want your players asking why that orc warlord didn't use the +3 Greataxe of Bloody Dismembering that was rotting in his treasury.

Nah, a goblin slow, weak or stupid enough to be made into a hat probably deserved that fate. But I'd be careful where you wear your new chapeau, it might draw a bit of attention from that poor goblin's kinsmen and let me tell you, goblins have huge families.
