From_Khyber, please leave the thread immediately unless you want to ruin the campaign idea I've devised.

***

I am planning a campaign based around a lovely Dungeon module; the Aundarian Job. The parts that will be changed are:

The Silver Flame will not be the people who are actually interested in the amulet, rather it will be the Aurum, though this particular member will still officially be representing CotSF.

The amulet isn't a phylactery for a rakshasa, but rather a simple artifact from Xen'drik of no apparent magical power in itself.

However, this does not mean it is without value. For reasons not readily apparent, the Silver Flame hires the PC (a changeling) to infiltrate the Kundarak bank and retrieve the item, using the excuse that it is a wholly evil item that must be brought into the right hands.

Once the amulet is retrieved, the Silver Flame guy [can't be bothered to remember his name right now] will ask for the PC to deliver it to a sage in Aundair, as he "knows how to purge the evil within it" and be given tickets to the Lightning Rail.

However, it becomes apparent that something is wrong when the rail is high-jacked on its way out of Aundair, by some fairly skilled criminals who first pacify the passengers and move towards the cargo wagon. When one returns angrily and informs his superior that "it's not there" the leader becomes angry and starts threatening to kill everyone if he doesn't get what he came for.

The amulet is in fact priceless, especially to members of the Chamber as any dragon wearing it will have its powers increased manifold. The Aurum are unaware of this, though they have realized it hides its powers from them (the reason they wanted it examined).

I am tempted to post more, but I'll save that for some other time.
