Is it just me, or does the whole Sharn Thing seem complicated to you.
Also, how would you write your address so that people could find you.

A suggestion might be
Ward, Tower, Level, Room, Store name / individual.
If you have the SCot book you will see that each level has different wards at different levels.
Upper Wards p.37 /Middle Wards p.43 /Lower Wards p.49 /Skyway p.87 /Upper Cogs p.101
Example
Clifftop, Rayns, 34,342, Mike Dorten

I'd probably work it like thus:

Name
Tower Name, Residence name/number
Neighborhood, District
Sharn

So someone like Selkatari (Kalashtar Monk, Sharn p 56):
Selkatari
Haran's Tower, Apt 22 [I'm making this bit up]
Overlook, Middle Dura
Sharn

For the most part, I play it that towers (or sections of towers) have individual names - kinda like skyscrapers in big cities. One tower may end up combining with another one above, or below...but in a given area, the name will be (generally) consistent.

That doesn't exactly make it really easy to find someplace, probably only the Orien or Sivis couriers (and the tax collector) have solid records on all of the different towers in all of the districts of Sharn. However, the address system I'm proposing is at least somewhat meaningful - you could easily work your way backwards to find this person's actual physical address...you just might end up having to ask questions of others in the neighborhood as you get closer.

i think thats a really good system. I mea, if you wanted to tell someone where your house was, this would work the best.

The fun part is that htese are almost like Japanese addresses: a mazelike street system combined with practically worthless house numbering equals: you've gotta ask a native.

I see it similar to the address system used in Japan. If you've ever been there, you'll know how complex it can be.

I would probably go with Ward, Level, District, Tower number, Street, Building Number.
