So, what's the make-up of your adventuring party?
Light foundation, a brush of mascara, vermillion lipstick and just a touch of rogue[1] on the cheeks. But seriously...

Having just started Trolls' adventure, which is looking very good, our 4th-level party consists of:

Norren Shurusk - male Shifter Ranger (my character)
Kar - male Goblin Rogue 3 / Druid 1
Damian Frostbite - male Half-Elf Hexblade 4
Lhakashtari the Petal - female Kalashtar Psychic Warrior 4
Quention "Lymond" d'Orien - male Human Bard 4
Rowena Althar - female Human Conjurer 4 (that's a Human who's a Conjurer, not a conjurer of Humans - I think)

[1] Well, it compensates for all the times it gets mis-spelled the other way.

EDIT: And then I notice that Peter the Hegemon has already posted our group. Oh well... in that case, here's the group I'm DMing in the Real Adventures forum:

Ainrik - male Valenar Elf Ranger
Azuman - male Seren Human Barbarian

This is my adventuring party, at the moment. We lost one player, his character was a Ged, changeling rogue, and are possibly expecting another in the future.

Elephas Ruary, male [Aereni] elf bard 3
-- A charismatic, mercurial poet. Very much in the manner of Byron or Shelley. Aspiring archaeologist.

Felicity Montane, female [Brelish] human wizard 3
-- A research assistant at Morgrave University. Very interested in the plight of the warforged and obscure magical secrets, such as the creation forges and eldritch machines.

Adamant, male-personality warforged fighter 2/barbarian 1
-- Moody and callous. Doens't understand the conventions and morals of society.

Cendrikal Medani, male [Brelish] khorovar urban ranger 3
-- An inquisitive with a dark secret. Cendrikal bears an abberant dragonmark. He is very interested in his elven heritage.

Shadow watcher Shakadharath, male [Adaran] kalashtar soulknife 3
-- Called Shakadharath the Brash or Impatient by the Adaran residents of Overlook. Is not satisfied to sit patiently and wait for the Dreaming Dark to come knocking at his door.

male Half-elven rogue of Sharn
male Dwarven fighter of Sharn
...both working as freelance "security experts" (on the side of the law, for once) and veterans of the last war.

New members on the lighting rail heading to join the group (whether they know it or not)
female Halfling Ranger of the Talenta plains (member of the Hospitality house but no dragonmark)
female Kalashtar Bard of Cyre (concentrating on being a diplomat)
female (something, character not done) Sorceress of (somewhere)

Because they are known for traveling by way of extraordinary mounts, the group in the campaign for which I am the DM has gained renown as "The Company of Riders".

Lavidha d'Joraco, female halfling Bard 6/Dragonmark Heir 1 (Sovereign Host)

Quonzar Dorruth, male human gnome Abjurer 7 (Sovereign Host)

We'll have another player joining us soon and will be essentially replacing the gnome wizard DMPC, but I'm loathe to give any details in case any of my players come this way; it's an interesting character concept, and I don't want to spoil the surprise!

My current adventuring group:

Bubba (Biomechanical Unit Built for Battle and Assassination) - Warforged Fighter 5: She was a soldier for the Brelish army and has seen a lot of action, though she's only 5 years old :D. She got bored after the war and was happy to join this group to do the things she was made for....FIGHT!

Kaer d'Sivis - Gnome Sorcerer 5: An adventurous little Gnome with a knack for ray-spells. Worked in the Sharnbased Sivis Messagestation, but got bored and joined an adventuring group.

Artimeus Prometheus - Human Exalted Cleric (Dragon Above) 5: Actually a member of House Tharask, he now lets the Dragon Above guide his quest for slaying Aberrations. With a lack of resources and needing fighting experience, he joined the Brelish army for a few years and joined an adventuring group.

Vivienne al Doran - Human Fighter/Ranger 5: Born in the Eldeen Reaches, her father a Ranger, her mother with House Vadalis, she decided to see the world and train to become an Initiate of the Bow.

Me=>Gaspar ir'Aldreir - Human Warmage 4: He joined the adventuring group after meeting them in the Temple of the Sovereign Host located in Sharn. He saw the group donating a large sum of money to the Dol Arrah shrine (for a Warfund) after the groups adventure, which cost one of their members his live. Himself a 13 year long Last War veteran from Aundair, he joined the Brelisch forces at Sterngate after the war, to fight off the Warbands from Darguun. After serving there for 2 years, he was looking for some new way to fight the evils in this world and joined this group.

The Swift Shadows is an inquisitive team for hire operating in Sharn. Currently all fourth level, they include:

Com, Changeling Artificer 4, with a great many alternate identities.
Karmakadh, Kalashtar Rogue 1/Psion 3. Known as Karm by his friends, and as a number of fake IDs (often with the "arm" sound within, like "Arman") by other people. Accompanied by a psicrystal called Inu.
Parabelle Oum Sivis, Gnome Diviner 4, with her cat familiar Paceme.

The group I Dm for

Anarax - Male 1/2 elf Artificer from Cyre
Celene - Female Human Wizard from Cyre
Watch - Male Warforged from Cyre
Guile - Male Changling Rogue from Cyre
Jevin - Male Shifter from Cyre

They are all from the same recon squad that was left homeless while on training north of Q'barra between tours. They wandered with their entire unit and its officiers looking for survivors or a means to avenge the destruction. After two years there was nothing except exile camps. The unit disbanded and most of the soldiers went to New Cyre to mamke lives while they contemplated where to go. They fell into a Cyrean admiral who was sailing the ocean in an elemetal powered underwater vessel that was investigating the destruction himself. Working together with an assortment of experts from Cyre they have pursued a number of leads pointing to an ancient weapon from Xen'Drik. They are level 6 now.

I'm DMing two Eberron groups, one of which has had two sessions so far (chronicled in "Intertwining Destinies").

In the first campaign we have:

Kitra: female fey acrobat (can't remember which book we got the core class from) from another world
Talia: female human ranger/Swanmay from the Eldeen Reaches
Derona Talashen: female elan kenetisist from Breland
Nym Deornyd Myrette Gheile Thaereneil Vernadh: female changeling artificer from Aundair (the names represent the names of her many identities)

The second campaign isn't finialized yet, but so far we have:

female gnome druid from the Eldeen Reaches (can't remember her name)
warforged soulknife/bard (no name yet) from Breland
artificer (race and name not created yet)
female human cleric of the Silver Flame, originally from Cyre (no name yet)

The group I'm making an attempt to DM in a new campaign set in Stormreach. I took some liberties with the city, making it bigger and more politically active, so all of the characters are somewhat socially focused. The classes and levels are withheld to protect the builds... (Or I just forgot them and don't have them handy):

Erwyn of Breland - 1/2 elf, swashbuckling pirate hunter
Lyrian of Breland - 1/2 elf, former brelish military, aspiring information broker
Renyn [d'Phirlan] of Sharn (by way of Aerenal) - elf, spymaster
Xiao of Stormreach - human, healer/vigilante (think iron monkey)
Tianiel of Breland - warforged, brelish warmage, part of lyrian's command
Ikouyou - human, finess fighter, searching for himself (steven segal type cook)
Tramorn of Stormreach - human, dissaffected mountie/police detective type

6 of the seven are currently active, none of them are single classed and none of them fit into a really traditional role. To date they have been very effective having smoothly sailed through a number of social situations and their first major combat went fairly well, though there was a casualty (non-fatal). Prior to this group there was another, not so smooth, not so "group" minded. Without going into detail we had mystically bound 1/2 fiends, changeling half-dragons, unstoppable dwarves mounted on those hellish super-dog mounts from races of stone (fortunately the party turned on the dwarves taking that task out of my hands, phew!), true evil in the form of a gnome warlock (one of the best characters ever, the one thing I was sad to lose from that batch), an elan supremesist (<-- rather amusing) brain-raping thrallmind, a bard that inspired his party with bawdy rhyme, aw man, now I want them to play again...

I'm lucky enough to be in two games:

The first has been going for a few months, now. We're going through the basic modules with some extra things thrown in for our specific histories, but all of our characters are based in Sharn:

Kitran: Shifter Ranger (Morgrave student and deserter from Droaam)
Kit: Warforged Artificer (Small-time crook and fence)
Noharroth: Kalashtar Clairsentient/Rogue (Private investigator)
Lens: Warforged Mindblade (Student of the psychic ways from Noharroth)
Dalin: Human Cleric of the Sovereigns (Ex-battlefield chaplain, haunted by what he saw in the war)
Chanaji d'Cannith: Human Fighter/Monk/Dragonmarked Heir (Aundarian-raised golden boy of the northern branch of Cannith, trying to reunite the house)

Our other group has yet to actually play, but our characters are almost entirely done, consisting of a group of deserters from various units in the war. Names haven't been finalized:

Dwarf Barbarian
Goblin Scout
? Druid (probably Child of Winter?)
Human Warlock
Dwarf Cleric
Human Spellthief

Yeah, it should be fun. So many good concepts to explore!

DMing two groups. One is just starting & the other consists of the following:

Akuuma: Male Shifter Ranger (The actual party leader. Good natured but often reckless.)

Mélésondré d'Cannith: Female Human Artificer (Assumes she's the leader)

One Hundred Fists: Male Personality Warforged Monk (Mélésondré's bodyguard, but she doesn't know it)

Qohadari: Female Kalashtar Psion / Telepath (Inspired hunter-in-training & party tactician)

Ravan of Sigilstar: Male Half-Elf Cleric of the Silver Fire (Exorcist in training. Very judgemental. Does not get along with Akuuma)

Jin: Male Changeling Rogue (Typical thrillseeker. Often on the wrong side of the law. Akuuma keeps him around because Jin has lots of street connections in Sharn.)

? of Zilargo- NG Male Arcane Gnome Wizard.. all powerful wizard/god Aspirant
? of Mror Holds- NG? Male Dwarven Fighter. <Defence/Tank build.>
? of Zilargo- ?? Female Gnomish Artificer..Airship pilot/owner Aspirant
Unnamed of ?- Neutral Warforged Warlock/Scout, Male persona

I can't remember names very well, and alignments aren't something I care about..even as the DM. They seem to distract from character development too often.

When I ran, we had:

Male Dwarf Cleric of The Sovreign Host (a banker)

Female-personality Warforged Fighter (going to kill everyone that kept making "skin you for gold" cracks)

Male Half-Orc Ranger (with Tharashk mark)

Male Human Sorcerer (with Orien mark)

Male(??) Changeling Bard (going to die at Warforged's hands)

Male Human Psychic Warrior/Wizard (More trouble than he was worth)

Male Gnome Rogue (with Sivis mark, b&e specialist)

Male Shifter Barbarian (tiger-marked, secretly descended from Rakshasa and actually NE unbeknownst to everyone)

Female Human Fighter (not sure WHY she was with this rag-tag group, Deneith mark)

I am currently DMing a group called The Wanderers. Here's a brief description of them.

1. Vincent Swiftblade - male human, psi-thief 6/invisible blade 2
A paranoid individual, due to his research of the Draconic Propehcy, who bears the Mark of Passage. His worries grow each day as he makes correlations between the Prophecy and his actions.

2. Sera: - female changling, swashbuckler 6/ duelist 2
A changling who was raised in Sharn, Sera wishes to make some quick cash that utilizes her "god-sent skill". Often gets more than she bargins for.

3. Cyrus "Asha": - male xeph, soulknife 8
Finding boredom in the mind-numbing affairs of the Serens, Cyrus left Argonessen in hopes to find some meaning to his life. His fear of heights only doubles as he finds himself in the City of Towers.

4. Lillian ir' Tarran: - female human, hexblade 8
The daughter of a noblelord, she ventured into the Mournlands in search of her love. What she found was a group of adventurers who took notice in her skills. Now living in Sharn, she is exposed to a bevy of cultures never known to her once sheltered life.

5. Elgederon d' Lyrander: male half-elf, shugenja 8
A Khoravar who bears the Mark of Storm, he watches the others intentively as he continues his work in the Windwrights Guild.

6. Kalvor d' Kunderak: male dwarf, bard 8
Born in the Mror Holds, he saves the lives of the Wanderers after they upset the local residents. Feeling an obligation towards him, they soon learn that he is more than meets the eye...

I'm currently DMing a campaign set in the Eldeen Reaches. The group has no name, but after last session they may want to consider "The Fugitives from Justice".

Namudikele - female Human (traces of orc blood) monk/psychic warrior. From the Shadow Marches - dragonmarked heir of Tharashk.

Panatari - female Kalashtar psion. From Adar but spent a good deal of time in Cyre.

Thorenal - male Elf cleric (Undying Court). Grew up in Sharn.

Ebon - Warforged fighter. Of unknown origin - was found unconscious in an orcish tomb with no memories and no indication of identity other than a leather shroud on which "Honored Defender" was written in orcish.

Hennic - deceased male Shifter ranger. From northern Breland - fought as a mercenary for Breland and Aundaire.

(Hennic's replacement): Xin - female Changeling bard. Currently traveling under the guise of a Valenar elf named Myar.

I DM and play a character in my group who is as follows: "The Sharn 5"

Branagen Hawkins (Cyre, displaced) - human, Ranger 3, Fighter 2, Extreme Explorer 2.
Talia Granger (Sharn, Breland) - human, Artificer 4, Wizard 3.
Milo (Talenta Plains) - halfling, Barbarian 3, Druid 2.
Falco Blackwren (Vathirond, Breland) - half-elf, Psion (Kineticist) 6
Eirawin Soulsearcher (unknown-Sharn) - shulassakar, sorceress 3, rogue 2
Bane (Cyre, displaced) - warforged, fighter 3 (DECEASED)

Falco is lame b/c the player refused to play the kalashtar but wanted to be a psion. So I let him be from Vathirond on the Mournland border and said that the magical energies contained within the Mournland changed his mind and he developed psionics.

Our group is all old-school D&Ders, so when one of our number offered to run Eberron (thanks again, Jon!) we decided to be as out-there as possible in the setting, without crunching numbers for max effect. (Funny thing is, we ended up inadvertently being pretty powerful for a 2nd-level starting party.)

We wanted party unity and a common background, and after riffing with the DM for a bit we turned out to be a group of "vanity" warforged, purchased by a minor noble as status symbols--we spent the Last War standing around his estate in Sharn looking impressive

Though we were freed from ownership by the Treaty, we stayed on with him out of habit. After his (natural) death we were encouraged by his heirs to find somewhere else to hang out, so off on the Road to Adventure we went.

GRIM, male-personality warforged Artificer 1/Fighter 1. Fights, fills in the rogue slot and acts as a backup "healer."

HAP (short for "Happy," which he is not), neuter-personality warforged Wizard 1/Fighter 1. Basically a longbow-wielding healer.

MACE, neuter-personality warforged Warlock 1/Fighter 1. The party's "face," and a credible dealer of death in its own right.

TANK, male-personality warforged Fighter 2. Just like "his" name says, the party tank.

We just completed Shadows of the Last War, and between our wide array of skills and abilities (and a bit of luck) not only did we all survive, we made it to 4th level, and (surprisingly) none of us ever dropped below 1 HP. Most importantly, we all had A BLAST playing very atypical characters with almost alien (to us meat-puppets, anyway) motives.
Kaleanae en'i Mori

We have an interesting setup being that we have 2 DM for the same group of characters.

Kaleanae d'Medani of Crye, Half-elf female, 3rd Bard/2nd Mst Inq/1st Hier of Siberys
Eralin Calanwe, Elf Male, 6th Rogue
Gauvain of Balliol of Breland, Human Male, 5th Fighter/1st Barbarian
Razor, Brelish Warforged, 6th Fighter
Trevidia Ravenglass, human Female, 4th Cleric/2nd Fighter

In the first campaign we have:

Kitra: female fey acrobat (can't remember which book we got the core class from) from another world
Talia: female human ranger/Swanmay from the Eldeen Reaches
Derona Talashen: female elan kenetisist from Breland
Nym Deornyd Myrette Gheile Thaereneil Vernadh: female changeling artificer from Aundair (the names represent the names of her many identities)

I've heard myths of all female gaming groups, nice to see that they actually exist. Go girls!

The group I DM:

Nibbla Finklewurm Blackwort III, Rogue goblin from Sharn with fun characteristics. Likes fancy clothes and hopes to be one of the Sharn nobles sometime. Grew up in the sewers and will basically eat anything. Very amoral.
Best moment: Once headbutted a shifter in the crotch so the shifter died.

Oom (sometimes Moe), Sorcerer/Thief changeling from Karnath. Also distinctively amoral. Excessively greedy, tries to keep most treasure for himself (usually successful).

X (currently unnamed), Fighter/Artificer warforged from Sharn. Is a pacifist and keeps a kitten for companionship.
Best moment: Decided to take the path of artifice after he killed an Iron Defender on Forgotten Forge. Wants to fix it.

Seeking Paw, Spirit Shaman shifter from Eldeen Reaches. Sees Nibbla as huge part of the Prophecy and therefor follows him. Spends much time talking to his spirit guide.

Ethelved Uared, Barbarian from Eldeen Reaches. Followed Paw's quest to Sharn together with him. Currently the only sane character in the party.

I just love this party! :cheer:

My group is mostly 8th-level. It features:

Shifter rogue (me) with Longstrider elite from the Eldeen Reaches.

Shifter ranger from the Eldeen Reaches. He hardly shows up.

Warforged artificer (7th-level) with a useless homunculus but very powerful augmentations. We kicked so much behind because we (ab)used those in our last two battles.

Human? psion. The player is inexperienced, so she gets little done.

Human monk. I think she has the House Deneith dragonmark, the one giving her mage armor. Another new player.

Elven paladin (Dex-fighter concept) who can make four attacks per round. Lots of damage vs opponents with opponents who have lame AC scores. He's from Aerynal. For some inexplicable reason I keep thinking he's a hafling - it makes no sense.

Horny cleric/Exorcist of the Silver Flame (always hitting on the psion) with very bad luck with dice rolls. But seriously, he's very useful, especially since the DM used some Mournlands house rules. Not very experienced.

Our party has no mage or tank, notice.

my groups new PC's:

- Sol, LE Elan Telepath. Residence: N/A. Brief history: A freak possession accident warped this power hungry fiend's mind and trapped him the body of a young traveller.
- Rhamatari, LG Kalashtar Soulknife. Residence: Sharn. An obsessive ascetic that's utterly dedicated to defeating and capturing evils from Dal Quor.
- Zila, CN Human Ninja: Residence: Sharn. A rogueish assassin that prides herself on her ability to finish any mission.

Tash~ Kasishtar Psi Warror/ Elocator
Pompus, arrogent, and right 99% of the time. Once killed a mindflayer with a single critical hit.
Wandering warror, joined the watch becuase the Path brought hem there

Ot~ Changeling Rogue
Tashe's old partner in the watch. Goes under the name Ulfgar, looks like a dwarf who's been kicked in the face by a mule more often then not. Joined the watch becuase it seemed like a good place to hide from the watch.
Obssed with his soar sled.

Bender~ Warforged Artifcer.
Arrested by Tash and Ot for instigateing a riot. Cares more for his Iron Defender Scantid then himself. Carries a Docent that seem to do nothing.
Well once it did start shooting out rope, and another floers.

Xoxox ~ Dromite Wilder
House Dennith mercneary. More concerned with studdying the mentality of crimals than arresting them. Enjoies seeing people in action, gets a slight glee from seeing people react to chaos. Will help out when he's not to absorbed in his study.

Crag~ Shifter Ranger
The only member of the party that can deal damage on a non critical hit outside of Xoxox. Another bounty hunter from Dennith. Cares more about collecting bounties than Xoxox.

Sir I Don't Care to Remember His Name At This Time ~ Human Paladin of the Silver Flame.
Tastes like a palidin, smells like a paldin, rides a horse like a paladin. Slightly better looking than Tash. Resents Tash for being more "non convental" with his LG alignment.

Jorakane Landou of Breland (Sharn); Kenku Transmuter 3
Appearance: Jorakane is a short unassuming creature with a slightly hunched posture, large dull-black beak, smooth black feathers, and beady black eyes.

Clothing: Landou wears a simple peasant’s outfit, which is barely more than rags. He prefers it, and simple clothes like it, as they generally give him the most freedom of movement possible.

Personality: Jorakane, like other Kenku, isn’t very sociable unless speaking up has the potential to benefit him in some way. Otherwise, he stays true to his friends and works hard to do good things within the world—despite his ever-growing faults. He is very fond of flying creatures and often fantasizes about personally flying up to the heavens to greet the mighty celestials. For this very reason, he long ago apprenticed himself to a powerful transmuter (in a far off war-torn land) in hopes of making his impossible dream a reality some day.

Region of Origin: Jorakane grew up in Breland within the city of Sharn, traveling elsewhere only to train as a transmuter and to uncover lost artifacts in foreign lands.

History/Background: Landou grew up with other Kenku amidst the high towers of Sharn. As a chick, he was very much a typical representative of his kind—conniving, evil, and ignominious. Towards the end of the Great War, however, he was seriously wounded in a border skirmish while apprenticing under a powerful transmuter far from home. Soon after, he ended up under the care of a professional healer who made heavy use of the opiate Dreamlily to aid in his treatment. The now-illegal drug left Jorakane with a severe addiction that cost him the respect of all those he knew (including his master). He now travels across Sharn with a small group of adventurers, disgraced, lost, and looking for answers that only illegal substances can provide.

Kokoro Nigthay of Breland (Sharn); Changeling Rogue 2/Ranger 1
Appearance: Kokoro is slender, tall, and very shapely, although her changeling features have a habit of throwing off potential suitors. She typically travels in public in the guise of a beautiful young maiden in order to fit in with the social crowd.

Clothing: Nigthay generally wears loose-fit robes with hoods so that she may slip in and out of various outfits quickly and easily, hide her face from view (particularly while changing), and to maintain the ability of moving in ways that only a rogue can.

Personality: Kokoro is a very quite introvert who prefers not to interact with others unless interacted with. Otherwise she has a friendly “feminine” demeanor, a good sense of humor, applies lots of dedication to her work, and gets along well in small groups. She also has a good grasp of her strengths and weaknesses and is a master of determining when a job may be better suited to another individual.

Region of Origin: Kokoro grew up in Breland within the lower city streets of Sharn, traveling elsewhere only occasionally to serve House Cannith.

History/Background: The lower streets of Sharn raised Kokoro, a lonely orphan and street urchin. For years she earned a living as a petty thief, an adequate pickpocket, and at times, even a private investigator for spying on cheating husbands and the like. Recently however, she ran afoul of the law and was imprisoned for a brief time to await trial. The trial never came to her as she simply decided that she didn’t desire to be present for it. The word on the street tells tales of her daring and resourceful escape, but such stories tend to leave out the fact that she had lots of help from several of her employers who value her skills too much to let her be incarcerated. She now travels with a small group of adventurers, hoping to lay low for a while.

Shugo Silfer of Breland (Sharn); Human Fighter 3
Appearance: Shugo is a tall, slender lad who sports a neat bush of blue hair, small compact muscles, a small mouth, and large exotic eyes. He also bears red tattoos of his family’s merchant crest across his cheeks.

Clothing: Shugo is an unwitting trendsetter. He is always trying to wear unusual outfits not before seen by mankind. Unfortunately, his style has a bad habit of “catching on” with others and it typically isn’t long before he has to invent some new eccentric outfit.

Personality: Shugo’s personality is as bizarre and bright as his numerous unique outfits. Despite his childlike demeanor and playful attitude, Shugo can become very serious and focused when called upon. Despite his young age and lack of life experience, he has a great love of the opposite sex and is often seen trying to flirt with “this young merchant girl” or “that duke’s daughter.” Needless to say, Shugo sometimes struggles unnecessarily hard to keep out of trouble.

Region of Origin: Shugo grew up in Breland within the city of Sharn, having spent most of his childhood with friends of his family hiding from the reach of city crime lords. He has recently traveled to foreign lands in search of ancient artifacts called schema.

History/Background: Shugo’s family, highly successful merchants who ran their business out of Sharn, lost everything in the Great War. Despite the financial setback, Shugo’s family did not depend on material wealth to live happily. That is, until his family was unable to pay off old business debts to a crime lord. In retribution, the crime lord kidnapped Shugo’s sister and would have taken Shugo too had it not been for his father, who died valiantly protecting his son. Fearful for the tattered remains of her family, Shugo’s mother hid him away with rich family friends. Shugo has not seen his family since.

The Unnamed Warforged of Breland (Sharn); Illegal Warforged Fighter 3
Appearance: Molded plates of wood, stone, and black adamantine cover the body of this massive yet agile-looking humanoid. Beneath the interlocking plates are strands of fibrous sinew. Arcane glyphs are engraved across the creature’s mostly featureless body, and its small eyes gleam with intelligence.

Clothing: None

Personality: This unnamed warforged is highly inexperienced. Due to this inexperience, he tends to be extraordinarily passive and antisocial except for where his existence or the existence of the precious few he knows is threatened by violence.

Region of Origin: In the short time this warforged has been alive, it has determined Breland to be its place of creation. He ha since traveled to Darguun and the Mournlands on quests for House Cannith.

History/Background: Deep in the bowels of the city of Sharn, Merrix d’Cannith runs an illegal creation forge continuing his forefather’s experiments. Sometimes he places the new warforged in his employ, sometimes he sells them to special clients, and sometimes he sets them free to see how they choose to survive in the world. The latter case is the cause of this particular warforge’s travels. He has recently fallen in with a small group adventurers, all of whom may dictate his destiny.

That's our current party.

The party I DM is as follows:

Vincent of Sharn [Human Rogue 4] - can't fight, can't sneak, can't disarm locks or traps but he can get you to give him the shirt off of your back and sell it back to you.

Nanfoodle [Warforged Artificer 4] - culture confused; he was raised by dwarves and lived among gnomes.

Yug [Changeling Wizard 4] - he was thrust from his life as a magewright into a whirlwind adventure; pretty meek and has a shifty eye.

Maera of Valenar [Elf Fighter 4] - he awoke in the mournlands to find his warband and their halfling prey were all decimated; he's joined the party to recapture his honor.

Orlin of Thrane [Human Cleric (Silver Flame) 4] - scion of an affete house, he's devoted his life to crusading; a bit of a oddjob.

Frank of Thrane [Half-Orc Monk (Silver Flame) 4] - the half-orc that follows Orlin, mostly to pluck him from the jaws of death.

Ayee of the Sharaat'kesh [Goblin Ninja 4] - is joining next session and has no established backstory; he's a ninja though how hard can it be?

I've enjoyed reading these. Here's my group.

"C.S.I." (City of Sharn Investigations)

Gnash Gneagle -- NG male gnome artificer5 of Zilargo obsessed with the creation of anything mechanical.

Klank -- LN male personality warforged fighter5 who is more lawful and orderly than your typical paladin. Was assigned to Gnash during the war and they've stuck together ever since.

Danatas -- N male human ftr2/brd3, dragonmarked of some house that the rest of the party knows nothing about. He's brash and flambouyant, enjoying the finer things in life when available.

Bekki of Mror Hold -- LG male dwarven rogue2/cleric3 of the Silver Flame who's got a big ole chip on his shoulder due to being teased all his life cause his name is "Bekki".

Teyver, Warden of the Wood (me) -- NG male shifter druid5 of the Eldeen Reaches, with a feline heritage. Has an affinity for all things cat-like. Trainer of animals. Wielder of clubs.

It's been very fun so far. Based out of Sharn, we've recently made a huge name for ourselves by bringing back dogtags from corpses in the Mournlands and running listings in the Chronicle of the names on those tags. Their families are very much appreciated and we've gotten a lot more business lately! And of course the Newspaper loves us for it.

Look out, messed up group. We've been deputized by the Sharn City Watch to uncover a cult (Secretly led by a Fiendish Kracko-Lich with the one Fiend PrC that grants spells to followers  ) that's been robbing people. BTW we all from Sharn

LG DMPC Human Exalted Cleric of Dol Arrah 8- My guy. Initially we'd be switching around the DM chair. No one else has taken it from me, but I want a powerhouse to take adventuring. Trying to bring out the virtue in my group after buffing my AC to a point where everyone needs a 20 to hit me.

LG Assimir Pally 7 - Likes his fullblade. Upset when he doesn't finish off the Ogre Barbarian in 2 hits. Hides his pally status despite his unerring accuracey at telling us who's evil.

NG Half Elf Rogue 8 - Wants to be Batman (Despite the fact that Captain America is in every way superior). Very combat oriented so far, but quick to pick up in a social setting.

LE Tiefling Fighter 2/Wiz 4/ Spellsword 1 - Hides under chairs when the "Fighter" in the party detects evil. Sleals lil bits of cash from bodies before telling us if we found any loot. Yeah, either I need to have him make 7 consecutive Dip rolls or he needs to steal less.

And a NPC Human Artificer X where X equals the party's current level. Was being run by my best friend till work screwed him over. Got his arm ripped off by a Grim Revenge spell cast by an undead Naga. He then made an arm of Nyr and he only got better. He's our go to guy for magic gear since I'm stingey with the magical goodies.

That's the party. Our highlights include 2 people rolling ones and me rolling a 3 on diplomacey checks. "I'll handle this... <rolls a 1> Yo! Horseface! Howsabouts saddling up on yer mom over there and riding out of here?" Oh, and tossing the halfling lich across the ballroom into the punch bowl and seeing fruit punch pouring out of the wierdest spots in order to disbelieve the glammer she had cast on herself. Admittedly she was trying to assasinate her influential husband but that's no excuse for seeing dusty fruit punch pouring out an empty skull socket. And we've kept our jobs, amazing.

We only have two people, my friend and I. He DM's my character, and I DM his. They're on sperate tracks, but are likely to cross paths eventually, causing all sorts of strangeness. We really have no idea where it will go, but I doubt it will lead to a run-of-the-mill adventuring party.

Bastian Tierandiel of Karrlakton, male half-elf gestalt rogue/sorcerer: A detective-type character, eventually going to be a Master Inquisitive.

Thaelaes Ruddiwyre of Sharn, female half-elf gestalt rogue/urban ranger: A jewel thief, cat-burglar, and tour guide. Will become a Thief-Acrobat.

I just hope they can all stay alive through the first night - I never fudge dice rolls.

we only meet once in two months, so we have a average of 8 of 9 present, it is much fun, believe me :)

Here's my party. They don't really name their groups unfortunately. I may have to badger them into doing it.

Blade, male-personality Warforged Fighter

Laehval d’Phiarlan, male elf Rogue

Naranis d’Cannith, male human Wizard

Talindra of Xen’drik, female drow Druid

Thiera of Thrane, female human Paladin/Exorcist of the Silver Flame

I'll be starting a new eberron campaign this weekend, and my players have gotten back to me with their characters... just most of them haven't named them yet

Female Dwarf Ranger
Male Dwarf Rogue (Trapfinder/Mechanical stuff)
Male Dwarf Fighter (Going Cleric at level 2, then heading for Templar PRC)
Female Dwarf Fighter
Male Dwarf Monk
??? Undecided, but leaning towards Male Gnome Illusionist w/ a Sivis Dmark, but he is also thinking about a Gatekeeper 1/2orc druid

All the dwarves are going to be from the Mror Holds, just into Sharn as guards for merchant. They will come across a dead body on the way to the bar on their first night in Sharn... and thats the hook into the forgotten forge adventure, and then I plan on running the other three official adventures interspersed with sidequests.

As you might be able to tell from the party composition, one of my players finally got his wish. Everytime we start a new campaign, he cajoles and tries to persuade everyone to be dwarves, and this time it worked, lol. The last time this happened was almost a decade ago when the 2nd ed Dwarven Handbook came out, lol

Callista Esperanza d'Lyrandar - Female half-elf,Bard 3. From Stormhome, Aundair. Former heiress to a Lyrandar enclave in Cyre that fled to Stormhome during the Day of Mourning. Currently enrolled in Morgrave University.

Myrick d'Cannith - Dragonmarked male human, Wizard 2/Swashbuckler 1. Also from Aundair (studied in Arcanix). Works for the Lady Elayden d'Cannith, but has ambitions of making House Cannith whole again.

Tzar - Female changeling, Rogue 3. From Sharn. Not much is known about her past but it's sure to be shady.

Wullick of the Eldeen Reaches - Male longtooth shifter, Barbarian 2. A mercenary who missed out on much of the Last War. Still looking for work.

My regulars
Nebuchadnezzar of Adar, kalishtar psion
Melkezidek of Thrane, human paladin
Calibreto of Breland, warforged soulknife
Guest stars
unnamed (she'll get around to it, she swears!) halfling druid from the Talenta Plains
Deceased
Chyrkard of ?, human psychic warrior
Roy of Breland, shifter fighter
Chykard worked out well. My brother wanted to change characters so he stopped playing Chykard. Instead of NPC'ifying him, I just made him an agent of the Dreaming Dark that his new guy, the psion, was hunting down.

Aramil Phryel of ??? - Elven Swashbuckler/Rogue, Plans to go Thief Acrobat; he was born in Cyre, but wandered Khorvaire since he was in his thirties. He most recently settled in Sharn. Also the only non-good in the party.

Zsoy Phryel of Cyre - Elven Artificier; she spent the 2 years after the end of the last war searching for her brother, to find out if she had any family left alive.

They are brother/sister, and have the Fey Bloodline. Both have purple eyes.(Not to clone Drizzt, to show their Fey heritage without letting the characters know of it)

Pencil of Cyre - Warforged Barbarian, Plans to go Warforged Juggernaut; he's the Artificiers sidekick.. With an intelligence of 8.

Harlect of Sharn, Breland - Shifter Ranger(Urban Variant), Plans to go Master Inquisitive; he's the person that led Zsoy and Pencil around the world following Aramil until they found him.

Marceshk the White of Seren - Human Sorcerer with Draconic Heritage; he doesn't speak anything but Draconic and came from the island of Seren to follow what a Dragon speaker told him about the Prophecy, seeking out a pair of violet eyed elves. Found Aramil in Sharn and agreed to stay with him. (Aramil figured that a person who couldn't speak anything but Draconic would make for a great alibi. Seeing as he'd have to translate whatever he said) Also has a very nice Breathe Weapon he's used to save Aramil a few times.

PCs

Raglin - Male Meanad Wilder/5 from Sharn (we beleave his parents migrated from Andar). The resident guy who blasts people to tiny bits without touching them. Ussually rather stoic appearing, but has a habit of loosing his temper. Seems to have some slight affection for the party bard. Also a worshiper of . (I forget the name, but it's the one the kalastar use in the Eberron Campain Setting) and is debating on dabbling in the arcane arts as he advances.

Manali- Female Human Bard/5 from Sharn (will eventually take Heir of Syberys PRC). She's the party's diplomate, negotiator, spokesman, and everything else bards due. Due to some insanely high rolls on preform checks, has made quite a name for herself amoung the musical communities in Sharn, and her name has spread even further than that.
Between Adventures, Manali sings and preforms at an inn in Tavern known as "The Pearly Relic"

Rain- Female Half-Elf Ranger/5 from the Eldeen Reaches (I think). Character is an animal lover, and is never seen far from her magebread horse and mated pair of magebread hawks. Known to beat other party members upside the head with sticks if they hurt animals (even in self defence, as the group's Warforged found out after an encounter with a pack of wolves)
Not much is known about Rain by the rest of the party, as she doesn't talk about her past much.

Obelysx (pronounced Obilisk)- Male personality Warforged Paladin/5 sent to a Cyrran Unit during the war, but never accually fought in any battles due to meeting up with a warforged Expert/Bard by the name of Seeker who inducted him into the warforged religion known only as the Children of the Forge (Seeker and the Children of the forge were originally created by Mark.B)
Obelysx works as a cook at the same inn Manali preforms at, and is the favored cook of the animated stove that gives the in it's name. He also enjoys scuplting the food into intricate shapes and designs, and has occasionally given a guest or two indiegestion with some ill-conceived ideas, becuase they looked really good. Considers himself an artist when it comes to food.

NPC's
Vorel- Male PsuedoDragon Monk. Attracted to the party by Manali's music, and seems to think the party's part of his hoard (those silly dragons). He's oftain a little TOO usefull (as the DM has a habit of using him to lead us around by the nose when we're stuck trying to figure out what to do next, leading to certain players reffering to him by the title 'Deus ex Draconuis' between sessions)

OTHER PEOPLE.
Tik-T'ak (pronounces Tick Tock) Male Thri-kreen Soulknife/1 from Xen-drik.
Tik is an outcast from his tribe for enjoying the use of fire way too much for the tribe's safety. Tik simply likes fire, will eventually multiclass into Pryokeniticist. One of Tik's greatest joys upon arriving on the mainland was the discover of Alchemist's fire and it's abiltiy to be used to be pour over a weapon to temporarily add flaming damage to the weapon, yet found out quite painfully that it didn't work very well on his mindblade. (Was originonally going to be another party member, but things didn't work out, the player lost interest in joining the game and we havn't heard from him since the first time he played with us..

Currently DM'ing for:

"The traveling people who kill for money"

- Melan d'Orien Greenwood - CN Human Barbarian 1/Bard 4/Rogue 1 - Born in the Eldeen Reaches, his current residence is in the City of Towers. Bearer of the Least Mark of Passage. He possesses a love for riches and women, as well as a healthy amount of self-preservation, the latter which he has proven many times, much to the annoyance of the party.

- Aramil of the Arrow - N Elf Ranger 7 - One of the "typical elves" with no ties whatsoever to the crazy double-scimitar-wielding raiders, or those guys from the creepy island. Entire family slaughtered during the Last War by monstrous raiders of unknown origin. Very sensitive about his bow, and constantly (CONSTANTLY!) begging the cleric for healing.
Facing a raging warforged barbarian on a skybridge in Sharn, his back against the railing: "The hell i'm dropping my bow! He might kick it over the edge!"

- Tyrion of Wroat - NG Human Cleric of Dol Arrah 7 - Born in Wroat, raised in the Temple on Worship Street. Acted as combat healer for Breland's army during the Last War, where he also learned to use a Greatspear. Not much of a roleplayer except for what can be said at spearpoint...

Ramon d'Orien - LN Human Monk 5 / Tatooed Monk 1 - Born and cloistered in Aundair. Bearer of the Lesser Mark of Passage, and with the potential to become a Dragonmark Heir. Remained fairly neutral during the Last War. Has a penchant for jumping onto houses (+33 or so Jump). He recently joined the group, repalcing the deceased Elf Druid. (His old character).

Introducing two new players (the cleric and the ranger) to the world of D&D, my campaigns tend to be fairly simple, with lots of action.
"The traveling people who kill for money" have been in the Mournlands on behalf of House Cannith, chased living lightning bolts on the lightning rail tracks and acted as personal bodyguards for Kwanti d'Orien himself.
Enemy factions include the Order of the Emerald Claw and The Lord of Blades.

Kaylee Cannith, another member of House Cannith (and twin sister to Elaydren, but unmarked).

The Eberron campaign I play in is based on the Sharn City Watch, a premise that allows for some occasional players to drop in.

Having cleaned up the local crime gang we are about to move on to larger scale matters, apparently.

The main characters are 6th level now. I still don't know the exact classes of a number of the characters:

Howlett, a male shifter barbarian with claws and serious anger issues
Claudius, an ex-army scout, who got recently promoted despite lack of seniority
Darcy, a multi-talented detective type
Malcolm Brand, a Cyrean expatriate cleric of a war god
Trix, a changeling rogue, master of disguise, allergic to danger
Quartz (myself), a warforged (male-personality) wizard

Deceased:
"Barrell" , full name Welby Goodbarrel, a psychotic halfling chopped in half by a warforged with a greatsword.

What classes are Martillo and Kaylee?
Martillo's a straight fighter going for the Jug. Kaylee's a multiclass fighter/rogue who uses the parrying feats from Dragon magazine and focuses on swashbuckling.

Hi all...I think this may be my first post.

All at level 1

I'm DM for a party of 3 war vets and 2 gnomes of diverse talents:

The Hidden Ones is the name of the trio of Karrnathian war vets have given themselves. They have been released from duties, either considered MIA or unecessary since the signing of the accords and the disaster of Cyre that decimated their platoon:

Kern - fighter - male - fascination with assassination, especially poisons. Wishes to prove himself as the greatest killer on Eberron...killing in the name of Kaius & country...at least for now unless his psychopathic urges get out of control.

Nara - scout - male - down to earth sort with a troubled past, enjoys rustic simple lives...perhaps finding peace in their idyllic moments. Yet he is tormented by a quest for revenge should the opportunity be made available.

Rosco "TheMagnificent" - war mage - male - confident, leader-bound, elite. Wishes to form a powerful organization for himself now that the Karrnathian army has dumped him. Needs acknowledgement...

The Gnomes:
Marcus ir' Metallus - druid - male - patron of the group, leads them into uncoveing arcane mysteries and plots for his and his house's gain that secretly worship Raven, a major avatar of Balenor that has chosen his family to quest for power. <<Currently in debt to Kundarak for starting capital.>>

Harmony d'Symphonia - bard - female - wandering musician and instrument crafter. Amateur anthropologist with avid itnerests in meeting new peoples. Her charm and linguistical skills make her an asset as an infiltrator.

HQ located in Vulyar, rent is cheap and major routes pass through the town. Currently in Vedykar on a mission into the Nightwood for ir'Metallus when a short favor to the governor of Vedykar (an ir'Tanar) turns into a fiasco with a local drug lord that has laid low Kern & Rosco when a hasty dagger to the face ruins the spy operation Harmony was engaged in and turns into an all out brawl atop the bodies of high users in an abandoned granary on the outskirts of town. A covert operation gone wrong so to speak (when engaged the dealer and his two gnoll body guards are about an ECL 5/6).

Update to my earlier post... I dm'd the first session of this new campaign, and they got about halfway through the forgotten forge encounter... could of finished the whole adventure, but they had a little inter-party debate over who exactly possesed the journal that turned into a PC vs PC fight (monk's fist vs Dwarven Waraxe), and which delayed the meeting with lady Elaydren as the two offending PC's were hauled away by the City Watch and fined for brawling.

All first level
Rosewood - Dwarven Fighter with a 20 constitution going along the Damage Reduction/Roll with It road. Mror Holds. Military Vet, comes from a wealthy/upper class background.

Azereus - Dwarven Artificer. Mror Holds, Military Vet, served with Rosewood. One of the offenders from the Brawl for the Journal.

Bigby the Brawler - Dwarf Monk 1, originally from Mror Holds, but has lived in Sharn for 8 years while competing in the underground Mortal Kombat style matches in the undercity. Never served in Last War.

Ruthak - Dwarf Rogue. Mechanical Skillmonkey. Last War vet, Mror Holds origin. Tried adventuring party before this party, was the sole survivor from an expedition to Xen'drik.

??? - Gully Dwarf Scout. I figured Gully Dwarves could easily of evolved from dwarves that were outcast and forced to live in the lower levels of Sharn with the Goblins etc. Last War vet, served as scout for Breland.

??? - Elf Ranger from Valenar.

The last two ??? characters actually have names, I just don't have access to my DM notebook right now.

I find it odd that
A) 5 of the 6 PCs are dwarves.
B) Someone actually wanted to play a gully dwarf
C) The artificer is the closest thing the party has to a caster of any sort
D) Half the party carries thieve's tools and have disable device as a class skill, lol

Group of 7, we're JUST about done with Whispers..

Tank (of Cyre) Warforged Fighter 6 - Damage sponge, had "Long Live Cyre" engraved on his back  Causes most problems with his rush into anything attitude.

Kah of The Silver Flame Changeling Paladin 5 - Killed a paladin when he was young and promised to take on his duties. Currently staying an elf so not to raise suspitions

Koan Warforged Monk 5 - Not sure of his story, just know he has Whirling Strike

Niven d'Jorasco Halfing Bard 5 - A small fellow who follows us around for the stories a group like us is bound to encounter. Plays SPOONS :D as his musical instrament

Hunter of The Silver Moon Shifter Cleric 5 - His village was destroyed by the Silver Flame while he was little. Creates an interesting interaction with Kah. Fun being able to turn air elementals ;)

Wylde Shifter(Razorclaw) Ranger 5/Weretouched 1 - He left his home after it was destroyed by a (nasty thingy that wears a living BP, cant remember) in an attempted to get more of his shifter heritage and be able to defeat the creature

Danajathiboyx of Zilargo Gnome Artificer - Called Dana by "the tall people", he's always been one to tinker with everything he could get his hands on. After graduation from Morgrave, his parents effectivly said "Get outta here before you take our house apart!" He wanders around, examining everything he can, tinkering and making (meeee!)

My group doesn't have an official group name as of yet, though I tend to call us, "Those who are completely and totally blind in the dark."

Deanar Tharashk - Neutral Human Rogue/Ranger. An unmarked member of House Tharashk, Deanar is something of a bounty hunter, one that specializes in Warforged. He's also originally from some small backwoods town in Breland and is something of a bumpkin. At 16 he's the youngest member of the group.

Ator d'Orien - Neutral Human Diplomat, from Breland. (I don't know where he found the class, but the DM approved it.) A student of Morgrave University, and a scion of his house, Ator is a font of information on most topics and speaks so many languages that I've lost count. He also has an arrogant streak a mile wide.

Morrolen Aerraist - Neutral Halfling Sorcerer from Karrnath. My own character. An alumni of the Twelve, he was sent to Sharn to examine and possibly acquire some material that had recently come into the possesion of Morgrave University. He speaks over a dozen languages (second only to Ator) and has a slight arrogant streak, which you really don't even notice with Ator hanging around. At 25 he's the oldest member of the group.

43 (Deceased) - Neutral Warforged Fighter, presumably from Breland. 43 was Ator's bodyguard. After a few fight's the moniker of "Swish" was hung on him for his seeming inability to actually hit anything. (Guy had some seriously bad dice.) 43 met his end in Darguun at the hands of a pair of Bugbears.

Drax - Neutral Human Fighter, place of origin unknown, though we found him in the Mournlands. We found Drax spying upon an encampment of Emerald Claw thugs, as we were trying to spy on the same thugs. His assistance has proved invaluable in keeping things away from the less physically inclined party members, and his ability to sleep in his armor without penalty is essentialy what kept the three ogres that later attacked us in the dead of night from eating us.

Hawke of Thrane (Deceased) - A Lawful Good Changeling Paladin of the Silver Flame, we found Hawke guarding a cart that was leaving Darguun. He joined us for a time and proved invaluable not only in fighting off monsters, but in keeping the other party members alive with his healing powers, particularly Denar. He was killed by a trio of beings of an unidentified race. (Githyanki)

Raziel - Neutral Human Conjurer who hails from a place that seems to be called "I haven't read the setting yet, you A--." He happened upon us shortly after a trio of ogres did and helped us defeat them in a long fight that nearly cost Ator and Drax their lives. He's somewhat confounded that the Sorcerer is a year older than him.

In case your wondering about alignments, the Dm has a house rule that everyone starts out Neutral, and their actions determine what alignments they eventually become. (A exception was made for the Paladin for obvious reasons.) Deanar and Morrolen seem to be headed for good, while Ator and Drax seem happy with Neutral. Raziel hasn't been with us long enough to really tell where he's going.

Tonight we will finish character building for those who were unable to make last week's adventure.

The team has been commisioned in to the Brelish Navy the command crew of a pirate hunting vessel "The Pompous Tyrant" with the mandate to protect the Hilt of the Dagger from a new pirate unknown threat.

Two of the four players made characters and played through two level 2.

Rippa: human Rouge 1/Ranger 1, from Breland who showed an affinity for ranged attacks and tactical fore sight

Slice-bot: Warforged Fighter 2, 5'0" tall built for Breland as a special purchase Slicebot showed an affinity for reckless bravery (stupidity?) Slice dove from the Pompous Tyrant to a long boat with 12 enemies, 8 lvl 1 experts (sailors) 3 lvl 1 warriors, and a lvl 2 warrior, but he lived.

We are looking foward to two more characters being added from one we expect a multiclass cleric/????

and the fourth is still an unknown, our group almost never has an arcane spellcaster so?????

This is my party, we're all first level and our first session is tonight! :D

Maria Ave Forlani - human swashbuckler from Lhazaar Principalities: Greedy, kick ass Pirate whith a pention for melodrama. Description: short dark hair tight to skull except for crow-wing bangs, tanned skin, dark eyes. tight leather pants, tall boots, loose canvas sleeve-less shirt with red leather surcoat covering neck to mid-thigh. Plain long sword in sheath at right hip, short sword in angled sheath above long sword.

Ariadne - Gnome Druid from Reaches: Combonation Princess Mononoke and Tarzan. Description: Spiky boyish dark hair (usually mistaken for a boy), tan skin, and only three feet in height. She is wearing no clothing other than her studded leather and two strips of cloth that cover her breasts and waist. As far as other equipment she wields a spear, carries a club on her back, dagger on thigh, and a sling and bullets, spell pouch, water-skin, and a pouch full of berries on her belt.

Brynn - Elven fighter/mage from Arinal, Exploring Korveir(sp?) to find/do something of great importance so Great Spellsinger back home will train her.

"Cat" - Shifter ranger/scout from Sharn: scavenger, street waif, and sometimes vermin catcher. Also an orphan- no idea who parents or family were (doesn't really care), escaped from an orphan workhouse at a young age. No particular name, never really had one...will reply to "Cat", "Hey you", "Fuzzy", and a variety of other street urchin/ cat epithets. Finding new names is a hobby, so from week to week or day to day she might insist on being called something different. Is also fond of picking up shiny things she sees lying on the ground, even if they just fell out of someone's pocket. The comic reliefe of the group. My Girlfriend:love:

Natalia - Young human mage/researcher from Aundair: from a rich family but trying to make it on her own. Adventure-craving, searching to make a name for herself, she's leaving her family and the library behind (well advised or not). aka: girl from The Mummy

Ecthgar Kunderak (Me) - Dwarven Artificer from Mror Holds: Drawn towards magic at an early age, decided that through arcane discovery and inventive aplication he would revolutionize His House and Dwarven society. Fought in Last War for Breland as oppurtunity to study Warforged, wants to uncover mystery of their creation and develop battle suits based on them. Lost best friend in war and through still loyal to House, Holds, and temporary home unsure of whether ideas/creations he had entusiasum about before will in the end be used to better all or create more distruction. Is now a student and teachers aid at Morgraive University.

Wish us luck, :cheer:

I DM Crimsonsun's group, a few posts back.

We also have "Player Avatars" floating around Khorvaire for when I get burnout on the current adventure, or if I DM can't make the regular session; also, they made an occurence in Whispers of the Vampire's Blade that much more chaotic:

"Foxboy2000" =Human Bard 5/Chameleon 1
"Nintendo Jones" d'Vadalis =Human Psionic Warrior 5/ Dragonmark Heir 1
"Crimsonsun" =Human Warmage 6
"Kah's Player" =Human Artificer 3/Wizard 3
"Koan's Player" =Human Ninja 5/Ghost-faced Killer 1 IIRC
"Runningwater" =Human Spirit Shaman 6
"Wylde's Player" =Human Something-or-other 6 with an Aberrant Dragonmark
"Brain" =Human Bard 6

My party has only had a chance to start the forgotten forge adventure, but we have:

Alden Moonstorm, Elven artificer and shopkeep
-is a drunk and likes nothing more than creating items and throwing whisky bottles at his warforged assistant

Hunter, Human Rogue
-a young man whose only goal in life is to join a society of explorers

Samantha <insert several names here>, warforged artificer
- a warforged who acts as Alden's shopkeep assitant and who has the habit of taking any name she hears and adding it to her own thus making her name 15 bloody words long. We just call her the Sam-tron though.

Uh shifter guy
-a barbarian made by a friend so he wouldnt feel left out when we played. He didnt like the setting so he wont be back leaving us with three people to face the rest of the adventure

Well, it all finally came together. We have ...

Jo, Shifter Barbarian
(Real name rather hard to pronounce, so well all just use the first syllable. Gruff, blunt, direct and with no sense of subtlety.)

Lox (?), Changeling Rogue
(I think that was his name, anyway. Heading for Master Inquisitive. A total skillmonger, sneaky, diplomatic, everything you'd want in your group Rogue except decent hit points.)

Elven Monk
(Name completely forgotten. Pretty good fighter, but a bit tactically inept; tends to think in terms of one-on-one duels rather than group battles.)

Magnus, Warforged Cleric
(Mine, so I can remember the name. In dire need of a battle cry. Embraces a life of warfare, loves to fight, but fights smart. Fond of quoting Sun Tzu and The Art of War (or a reasonable facsimile thereof).)

Things went pretty well, though our rogue got his butt soundly kicked due to a slip-up/misunderstanding. 3rd level rogues with no Con bonus are fragile ... I'm going to make it a point to keep a Shield Other or two handy to cover him. Everybody else can take care of themselves just fine, I've discovered, especially the Barbarian.

Zorak of Eldeen Reaches - 4th Male Shifter Rgr *Appreciates all that is nature and is an awesome sharp shooter

Charles (Nex) - 5th Male Changeling Rog (group only knows him by Charles) *is slowly having his true identity revealed. up to this point, he has acted like a nimble fighter and just sleight of handed things when no one was looking.

Bargon of Sharn - 4th Male Human Clr of Olladra *keeps a dead squirrel by the name of Blinky who he sometimes talks to and influences his responses to certain situations when a 1 or 2 is rolled on a d10. just a little crazy...a bit of a sex fiend as well

Used to be in the group, but now are "waiting" in Sharn;
Chopper - Male personality warforged Bnb
Igby Wunders of Sharn - Male Gnome Art
Merrick of Eldeen Reaches - Male Human Druid *Killed by a critical shot during a not so friendly game of ro-sham-bo with Dabbit*

I am currently DMing twice a week with two different parties. One started two months ago and the other started 15 days ago (picking up the day for SWRPG).

Campaign: Shards of the Last War

Vorel d´Deneith from Q´barra: Human Paladin from the Sovereign Host. He wants to become part of the Sentinels from his house. He wants to heal the wounds made from the Day of Mourning. Believes that all houses should work together to bring a better tomorrow to all nations.

Kothar d´Medani from Aundair: Half-elf bard. He wants to make a name of his own after his master died some years ago. He is standing next to Vorel because is the only one he has actually trusted since his master demise. He is not very involved in his House, but he is starting to think to approach them.

Elianna Woodstrider from the Eldeen Reaches: Shifter Ranger. She served as an scout for her country during the war. She doesn´t feel confident in hersefl, and though she is a capable warrior, she thinks she is worthless for any other thing. She has befriended Vorel and Kothar, and is always near them, she thinks they might need her.

Illidan d´Orien from Karnnath: Human Fighter. He sees himself as a protector for travelers. Right now he is experiencing the world to later reunite with his family. He is overconfident on his abilities and he jumps at any opportunity for a fight.

Algial d´Phiarlan from Aundair:Elf wizard. She started to adventure as an embassador to House Phirlan. She is with the group because they were moving to the Mournland and she is interested to find a warforged with whom she was very close. She has serious doubts about her feelings towards that creature, so she wants to find what is she feeling.

Hammerfall from Breland: Warforged Artificer. After the war ended he was given to a very talented blacksmith where he began to create different things besides weapons. Hammerfall´s life complicated on a trip to Sharn where his master was attacked by brigands and he received help from the party. He decided to go with them, certain that he will learn more about the Lord of Blades and the nation he wants to create for the ´forged.

Campaing: Shades of Nations

Sickle from Breland: Warforged Fighter. After the war, Sickle turned to help a small town and learn the ways of Boldrei. Sickle thinks that he is partly responsible for the war, and he looking for a way of being accepted in the society as a person. He believes that faith in the Sovereign Host or the Silver Flame will cleanse his soul (if it even exists) and will allow him to come to terms with his function.

Solo from the Talenta Plains: Halfling Ranger. He is a mercenary who after getting tired of only battling Valenar Elves, took his partner Clawfoot "Obelisk" on a mission to prove himsefl. He is tired of how the rest of the world wouldn´t take seriously his race, and now he is trying to prove his worth. He is out for Sharn to see if he get tired on the big city, but on his way, he got attached with Sickle and Agar.

Agar d´Vadalis from the Eldeen Reaches: Old Human Artificer. Agar is an old lady from House Vadalis. Her housband was a famous member of the house, and when he died 6 months ago at 76, it was a blow to the house. One of their dream was to find a dragon, a dream they never realized. But when she accepted to go to a memorial service in Wroat, she got contacted by a former apprentice of her husband with disturbing news. Now, at 60, she is traveling in company of the rest of the party to Sharn to find more about the secrets of her dead husband.

Ariadne Denefar from Q´barra: Changeling Bard. She comes from a proud family of Changelings who have tried to maintain alive the spirit of great Galifar. She knows her people is distrusted by everyone, so she decided to disguise hersefl as a human and start her career as a bard and see as much of the world as possible. She wants to belong somewhere, because even in Q´barra she was not part of the kingdom.

Vadamar de Vryl from Valenar: Elf Cleric from the Undying Court. Vadamar accepted to become an ambassador to the kingdom of Breland, and the town of Sharn specifically. In his travels he has seen first hand the atrocities inflcted on the Cyrians and he decided to prove his worth in helping reunite his people (the elves) under one banner, that of the Undying Court, as he is afraid that Valenar suffers a tragedy in the likes of Cyre.

Rasrim d´Deneith from Breland: Human Monk. He trained to become a personal guard. But he saw that military training was not the only training he needed. He decided to leave his monastery and start wandering Khorvaire, not just to prove his abilities, but also to see what he didn´t see at the time of the war.

Might as well chime in, too:

Thag of the Talenta Plains - Halfling Barbarian/Scout
Chaz of Sharn - Human Monk/Cleric of the Silver Flame (going for Sacred Fist)
Tan Dun (yes, I know) of Sharn - Human Bard
Keel of Shavarath - Tiefling Rogue/Swashbuckler
- RETIRED [Player quit]
Korlen of Sharn - Changeling Rogue (always masqueraded as a half-elf, and most of the group thought that was what he was)
- DEAD
Leafeon of Valenar - Elven Warmage (regrettably delusional; convinced his ancestor was calling him to eventually conquer Xen'drik)

The best character ever, though, was right after the setting came out, and a friend made "Bucket", a Warforged artificer who wore -- what else? -- a bucket on his head, and used a barrel as his backpack. The lid of the barrel doubled as his shield. He always talked about himself in the third person. Shame a dolgrim critted on him. :(

Lets see, I've been in three.

First:
*Buddy - Warforged Fighter 4. Breland.
Marcus d'Cannith - Human Artificer 4. Breland.
Drik - Drow Wizard 2. Xen'Drik
Kiren - Teifling, Swashbucker/Rogue. I can't remember, possibly Breland.

Then there was Nin, the Changeling Rogue 3 from Breland.

Campaign got ressed by the good Dr. playing the DM. Two of the characters didn't really fit Eberron, and we all were sucktacular at everything....

Now it's:
*"Neil" (Nathaniel) d'Cannith, Human Artificer 3, Breland.
Mereph, Goblin Scout 3, Breland.
Corran (Cannith Excoriate's son), Human Cleric 3, Mror Holds.
Devitash, Kalashtar Psychic Warrior 3, can't remember at the moment.

And there was also:
*Harlect, Shifter Ranger 1, Breland.
Zoey, Elf Artificer 1, Cyre.
Pencil, Warforged Barbarian 1, Cyre.
Arimel, Elf Rogue 1, Cyre
Markeshk, Human Sorcerer 1, Seren

Campaign got ressed, once again, and I was excluded 'cause the DM was, essentially, too lazy to "adjust" the modules for a five member party.... And didn't tell me about it. That was fun.

So, yeah. Nothing big, a lot of odd stuff, but eh. First few goes aren't always good.
Siduakal

03-03-05, 04:50 PM
Siduakal d'Deneith - Human Monk and Heir of House Deneith
August - Human Ranger wanderer
Az - Half-Elven Artificier, Foundling of House Lyrandar (Though that's hush hush In Character)
Anthony - Human Wizard, formerly of House Orien (Again, hush hush in character)

Yes, we have 3 marked characters. Though only ones mark is known.

Actually he wasn't lazy. He could, and did before. We thought it would be better to keep it at a four person party. And Sid and yourself didn't always see eye to eye. We were playing the game originally for Sid.

*Sigh* There should be no drama in Dungeons and Dragons.

Actually, get one of those three letter non-cable stations in here. Maybe we could make a frelling Soap Opera.

Group I'm a player in consists of the following:

Sil: Brellish Human Rogue/Extreme Explorer (someday Siberys Heir)

Lisst: Lizardman from Xendrik, Fighter/Hand of Vol (homebrew PRC combining Blackgaurd with True Necro. Less fighting prowess, more spell selection). He wants to become undead too.

Merrick: Shifter Ranger

Bender: Post war (illegally) manufactured Warforged Fighter/Juggernaut

Demetrios: (My character) Cyran Wizard/Cleric/Mystic Theurge. Cleric is unaligned, but reveres the three great dragons (Siberys, Eberron, Khyber) as source of his divine power. Plan to take Archmage PRC.

Maybe you could suggest to that PC to look the PrC True Necromancer from Libris Mortis, It's like Mystic Theurge but with more emphasis on the Undead, it's almost the same prerequisite. But maybe she's for the Undying Court so that wouldn't work I don't know...

Currently running the prewritten modules. On Shadows of the Last War.

Elaris Ildrathir - 2nd level half elf Sorcerer (Currently studying at Morgrave)
Xias Reinfire - 2nd level Elf Artificer (Enjoys tinkering in the workshop with his creations)
Storn d'Kundarak- 2nd level Dwarven Fighter (Debt Collector)

All three are best friends to various reasons. The elf and dwarf have been able to overcome their natural feeling towards each other through years of trust building friendship. I will run these guys all the way through the modules to get a good introduction to Eberron. After that I will write my own adventures for these players.

Ash - Changeling Cleric
Pyn - Changeling Wizard
Iron Wind - Warforged Monk
Spike - Human fighter

They're currently members of the Clifftop Adventurers Guild (except for Iron Wind), and are going though the Forgotten Forge.

Ash pretends to be a cleric of Kol Korran, but actually worships the Traveller. She's newly arrived in Breland via the lightning rail from Gatherhold in the Talenta plains, where she had served House Ghallanda, but left after a love affair went sour.

Pyn is from Sharn, and is a member of the Guild of Starlight and Shadows. She was a street urchin until she saw a rich kid randomly murdured, and took the kids shape in order to be "adopted" into the rich family.

Iron Wind, constructed in Breland toward the end of the war, was a member of Bara's Breakers (Fort Argonth), but volunteered to take an extended leave of absence when Elaydren d'Cannith requested that Bara send her someone trustworthy for an important mission. (He was to have been in the party with her and Bonal Geldem, and joined the other players characters instead once Bonal was murdered.)

Spike, from a small village in Breland, was in the army (an elite light infantry company), but the war ended before he saw action, and he was mustered out. Unemployed, he spent several months as a street thug before the Boromar clan not-so-gently convinced him to find another line of work and he fortuitously met Ash.

Currently playing Shadow of the Last War after Forogotten Forge and a small scenario of my own design.

The party:
Vigharath - kalashtar psion
Adele - human wizard (evoker)
Eldon - halfling rogue
Merissa - elven cleric of Dol Dorn
"Monk" - warforged monk (it's not his name, which he hasn't chosen yet, it's the way the others call him)
Elisabeth - warforged ranger (no it's not a female model, but my 6 yo step son decided that it would sound cool :) )

They had some clash with city watch already and even had some time behind the bars, because of that darn 1/2ling :) they have with them.

Vigharath is from a monastery fer away in hardly understands the ways of the other except for the monk, with whom he came to Sharn.

Adele is a spoiled girl from rich merchant familiy, who ran away from home with Eldon to be able to live easy life AND (!) study magic.

Eldon's deceased father was the head of Thieves Guild in some Aundair town. Eldon was a target of asassins since then, so he ran away and took Adele with him.

Merissa left her valenar relatives together with two friends. Friends loved each other and stayed in some small village and Merissa heard the call of Dol Dorn.

"Monk" in his first action he was fireballed and lost his legs. He crawled to Vigharath's monastery and stayed there reading books and trying to recognize his place in that world. An artificer repaired him and monks gave him first lessons. When Vigharat went to Sharn, he followed.

Elizabeth - well, fought in the war, went to the woods thinking anamls were cool - come on! what do u want from a 6 yo kid?

I'm the DM of an unsual band of villains making a living in Sharn. They are;
Galain 'Swiftblade' Valaestis - The Elven Hexblade Pirate
Zeneth - Xeph Soulknife (Formerly Tallex - Changeling Bard, but he died fighting an ogre of the Daask Clan)
Myrian - Shifter Urban Ranger

Galain is an heir of House Thuranni and currently works in a front for the House, selling weapons to the public, but providing a dreamlilly den to those in the know.
Zeneth recently met the other two in a pub...a very poor refugee from Riedra, a petty thief to make ends meet.
Myrian is an orphaned child, who's grandparents were killed when Thrane purged the lands of lycanthropes and their kin. Out on a personal vendetta to seek revenge on humans, he works as a crooked member of the Sharn watch, someone who can turn a blind eye to his ally's exploits.

It's a great group that's really fun to DM :)

Last War Campaign-Taking place on the front between Breland and Cyre around the 986th Year of the Kingdom. Our party is serving with a Brelish military company, and its make up is this:

Breggar Thaindower(deceased)- Brelish patriot, officer in the Brelish Ranger Corps, and father of two children. His hometown was destroyed in a Thranish incursion over the Brey River when he was a young boy. His family became refugees and made for Starilaskur. Despite his desire to stay home and tend to his wife and children, he could not ignore the call to duty in serving his country during this time of need. Perished against Cyran forces after the failed defense of a tactically important mountain pass between Breland and Cyre.

Linvar Sylvanos (drawing a blank on family name)- A Human man brought into the Brelish Ranger Corps from Starilaskur. Joined the military with Breggar.

Vachteharian in'Sultarath- Poison Dusk Lizardfolk rogue and mercenary drawn from the depths of the Q'baran jungles. He has personal motives for leaving his homeland that are slowly being revealed to the rest of the party as the campaign progresses.

Saelyn Aeshaera Aernegax- A sorcerous Brelish woman brought into the service at Argonth. It was there she met Breggar's elder brother Gresham, with whom she shared an even-tempered rivalry and perhaps something more. After Gresham was slain in action, she began to feel an overwhelming guilt for his passing, and so set out to find Breggar in the hopes of protecting him from meeting such an end. Sadly, she was unable to prevent Breggar's death.

Farren Jacker- Changeling Rogue and a Cyran spy posing as a member of the Brelish Ranger Corps. The party is mostly unaware of his "spyhood", though recent events have brought more suspicion upon him. Notorious for his failed assassination attempt on a Brelish officer, and the events preceeding it.

Deacon Stainglass- A Brelish human and Cleric of the Sovereign Host, serving in the same military company as the other PCs. He is a good man, and has tended to many of the unfortunate wounded of the company.

Axiom- Cyran wrought Warforged sold to the Brelish military, who meets the party when they arrive in Argonth, having fled the battle with Cyran forces in the mountain pass. He is both a fighter and an artificer. Read more about his backstory here (http://boards1.wizards.com/showpost.php?p=5397171&postcount=8)

Nahalem(aka, The Fiend)- A human Warlock claiming to have wandered out of some cursed corner of the Talenta Plains near something called the Boneyard. He and his mercenaries are sent as reinforcements to the mountain pass, though of his men, he is the only one to survive the engagements that follow.

Frozen Seas Campaign-The campaign began in Regalport in the 998th Year of the Kingdom and was centered there until recently when the party left port to pursue another pirate ship sailing for Stormhome, Aundair. The party consists of:

Parsifalien d'Thuranni- artisan and "entertainer" on the surface, rogue behind the scenes operating in Regalport since his House made the port its headquarters.

Durshast Alshaesthyr- A Seren Barbarian/Sorcerer who recently arrived in Regalport with a ship full of his fellow tribesfolk at the enigmatic bidding of the tribe elders (acting upon the manipulations of the dragon whom they worship and revere-motives on this are slowly being revealed).

Vrill d'Tharashk- A Half Orc fighter and able seaman/navigator serving on the Seadragon vessel known as the Sirenja initially. Now Vrill is the Captain of the soarwood ship called the Silverlyn.

Vror- A Shifter of the Eldeen Reaches, and illegal prisoner of war being transferred by Direshark pirates to Dreadhold at the bidding of unknown parties. He is discovered by Seadragon port inspectors(and two of the PCs) when The Sirenja and her sister ship "capture" and escort the Direshark ship to Regalport.

Moge- Changeling Bard from Karrnath. Disaffected by events related to his military service to Karrnath during the Last War, Moge uncovered some startling things about the Blood Cult of his homeland and has pursued some of its agents to the Principalities. He begins in Regalport, where he lost the trail of the Blood Cult agents.

Rhuul Duuch Olkegaan'or- A Goblin Warlock and mercenary who served with other Darguul troops during the Last War in Aundair. Since the close of the war, he has served as a personal bodyguard to one Lodire Judson. He is interested in acquiring rights(and thus protection) in regards to exploring Dhakaani ruins in various places.

There are two other games that we are currently playing in as well. I will post info on them when time permits.

TranquilDarkness

I dm and play in one campaign centered around the Prophecy, group-name is upcoming. All have a first lvl in Expert, and have been raised as children in a remote location. Now they travel across Khorvaire without knowing where they came from, but searching for a legendary lost dragon sage.

Annika (leader) - female human psion(telepath) 4, LG (wants to go Uncarnate)
Mira (tactician) - female human fighter 4, CG (wants bigger weapons..)
Gothar (historian) - warforged wizard(diviner) 4, NG (probably going Loredelver)
Maresto (geographer) - male human warlock 4, CG (Go Evil urges :cheer: )
Slink (engineer) - male kobold cleric 4, CG (wants to destroy, repair and destroy again)

And I play in another group hunting Quori and Xen'drik secrets alike;

Min(harath) - male Kalashtar psion(kineticist) 7, LG (The calm and collected energy-blaster)
Goldheart - warforged fighter 2/cleric 4, NG (has powerful build) (healing unit going Templar)
Soveliss - male elf druid 7, N (seems to love owls alot.. :chicken: )
Relios - male half-elf ranger 7, NG
Thurik Deneith - male human (unknown classes, but something fighter/clericy/templary/citadel elity), LG
+1 upcoming new character, probably a spellcaster.

Deceased;
Dorna - female changeling; well, not deceased as such, but she was incarcerated after trying to sneak into Flamekeep citadel. Being an assassin with a past, evil alignment and changeling... she obviously escaped after the party left her to rot and is now hunting for lack of loyalty :tantrum:
Simon(?) - human male sorcerer who seemed to believe that something radiating highly energetic magic couldn't be harmful to pick up.. :looloo:
somebody Deneith - human male cleric/monk, died while valiantly trying to absolve his father from crimes not commited.
Fadeyka Kundarak - male dwarf artificer, got splattered by a industrial crusher-style trap. :ghosted:
shadow-halfling-bloke - male halfling scout/shadow-thingie. Had the nasty tendency to stand in your shadow. Also had the nasty tendency to shoot first, ask questions later - even when the target is a curious T-rex popping his head through the canopy. The Rex ate him, and right he was :w00t:
Gimmin - male dwarf fighter/barbarian, fought alot, hurt alot, got chewed on but finally some golf-playing Giants did him in.

We have only two sessions in so far, but the new Eberron Campaign I am part of is really fun, and the party has a wierd composition. Unfortunatly, we play with closed character sheets, and don't know each others backstories yet, so I can't give too much info.

Zrath d'Cannith, male Human Artificer with the Mark of Making. For some reason or another, this guy is nominally in charge of the party. Probably becuase he is Favored in House and two of the party members are his bodyguards...

William d'Deneith, male Human Paladin with the Mark of Sentinel. Right after the guy who complains his name is too wierd is the guy who complains his name is too normal. Currently assigned to serve as bodyguard to Zrath. Surprisingly laid back for a paladin.

BEAT, Warforged Fighter. The other bodyguard for Zrath. A mithril bodied fighter who goes around with no clothes and more weapons than you can count in one glance.

Oog, male Half-Orc Barbarian from the Demon Wastes. Still not 100% sure what his story is, just that he left the demon wastes to fight evil and really likes his liquor. Demonstrates a love of crazy reckless attack plans.

Lia, female Human or Half-Elf (can't remember) Bard. A somewhat strange character. She loves coming up with and performing songs for the most minor of deeds (such as visiting a burly seamstress). She is also strangely compelled to touch things other characters don't want her to touch. This almost got us killed a few times. Likes annoying BEAT.

Dox, female Changeling Warlock. My character. I would divulge a lot of information, but I have my secrets to keep. Usually poses as a human woman, unless she sees distinct benefit doing otherwise. Likes to perform preemptive eldritch blasts.

Well my old party kind of fell a part when the Warmage died, and I wouldn't let him play a Drow Ranger. Go figure. He left, and his parents are overtly weird and wouldn't let his brother play in the group as well.

So I have a new group:

Wall'O'Iron Warforged Monk of Shaarat'khesh 2/Rogue 2 (A newly created Warforged by Merrin, whom on his first week out of the Creation Forge saved a group of Shaarat'khesh from a group of Thrane Zealots. They 'adopted' him so to speak, but he eventually grew tired of living in Darguun, and moved out to see the world. Is a member of the tar'khesh.)

Keetz, Goblin Monk of Shaarat'khesh 2/Rogue 1/Sorcerer 1 (One of the Goblins that Wall'O'Iron saved, was sent by his clan master to make sure that Wall'O'Iron doesn't give away the clan secrets, with secondary orders to acquire some elemental binding techniques. Is a member of the il'khesh order, has recently been learning how to tap his Sorcerer powers from T'leek.)

T'leek Kobold Psion 1/Sorcerer 2/Rogue 1 (A Kobold recently rescued by the party from slavery in Droamm. He's with the party only until his eggmates find him. Or so he says. He spends most of the time teaching several members of the party how to cast his own form of magic, thus the high number of Sorcerer levels in the party. Has also accepted teachings from Obar, the party Psion, and is learning how to tap his mind as well as his soul for power.)

Obar, Xeph Soul Knife 1/Psion 2/Sorcerer 1 (A Xeph Soulknife who fled Sarlona when his Mindblade powers started to emerge. In my campaign Soul Knives are trained from early on to be assasins for Reidra, and usually take young Soul Knives in the dead of night. Obar was lucky to escape before he was detected. He's fallen in with the group in a bid to gain some gold quickly so he can smuggle his family out of Reidra.)

Colmet d'ryals Half-Elf Swashbuckler 2/Bard 1/Sorcerer 1 (The 'face' of the party. Has started the adventuring party in a get rich quick kinda deal. So far, after two adventures, it's worked well.)

Marist(Can't remember his last name) Changeling Druid 4 (Colmet's long time friend, they grew up together in Sharn. He's looking to get in touch with his shapechanging nature, and has learnt of experienced Druids being able to shift into other forms. He's gone looking to join a Druid sect in order to learn more about his bloodlines. He's had a run in with the Children Of Winter, and is beginning to slowly consider their philosophy as being superior...)

Niraz Rennoc, Halfling Fighter 3/Barbarian 1 (A Halfling fresh from the Talenta Plains, his older brother left to see Khovaire, so he left as soon as he could to do the same. He showed up one day and proved himself a valuable ally when he helped slay a trio of Warforged who had murdered a professor.)

Terrasa D'Cannith Human Wizard 1/Artificer 2 (A Cannith inventor who joined the party at Lady Elaydrin's request.)

So yes, a bit bigger and more varied than I'm used to, but this new group rocks, they are big Eberron fans, and for the most part have fleshed out their characters fairly well thus far... If it gets out of hand, I'll just split the group into two.

Our characters at the moment were mainly from a normal D&D world (hence no Eberron classes) but found themselves in Eberron for reasons they've not yet discovered.

Human - 5th level cleric - Reule
Elven - 5th level wizard (cant remember name)
Elven - 4th level Ranger - Mattimeo
Half Elf - 1st level fighter/4th level druid - Kerowen Darkstorm
Halfling - 2 levels fighter/ 3rd level rogue - Tandar Lightfoot

This group seems to have worked pretty well for us so far.

Party makeup? I've found that a rouge should always be included in your makeup.

Oh, you mean the people who make up a party... then make that rogue.

You know, this list of characters will be useful as NPC's in my campaign.

Thanks and keep 'em coming!

With our first group (and current group) my PC's didn't know much about regions.... so most are from Breland... :P

ANYWAY... Here's our party...
-Roylarez Stantala - Tiefling Swashbuckler (my character, I decided to be from Breland myself...)
-Manish Ranu - Gnome Artificier; from Zilargo, racial region... picked it for that reason...
-Veltargo - Warforged Fighter (yes it's odd... Boltz or Scrap OR ANYTHING would be better)
-Ryk - Changeling Bard
-Vrall Yelloweye - Hobgoblin Ranger/Fighter

Yes... we're a band of fools.. :(

On the contrary, I'd like to thank that player for actually avoiding that cliche of giving a warforged a name that's a noun. I'm really tired of people naming warforged like they're robots or toys, and actually naming them like they're people.

Game starts in two weeks, and right now I've got....

Warforged Wizard
Warforged Fighter
Human Monk
Elven Fighter/Artificer
and a fallen Astral Deva

Only the wizard has a name, thus far. Ironically enough, his name is "Unnamed". Wears it as a badge of honor, he does.

The Figher is a straighforward sort, going for Juggernaut as soon as possible.

The Monk follows an ancient goblinish discipline, and they aren't too happy about it. He and his master are both marked for death.

The Artificer (one level of Fighter, rest as Art) is a munitions and weapons expert who is all too fond of fire and explosions. We tweaked the class a bit, so she has a familiar: A Warforged Spider Monkey. She's not sure how she created him, but a lot of people are going to want to get their hands on him....

And the Deva? He's using the Savage Species progression, albeit without wings. They were torn off when he was cast out of paradise. He's on a quest for redemption.

Actually, the gnome named him... because he's his master...
