O.k.

Last weekend I threw together an Eberron game and ran through Forgotten Forge and we're about half-way through Shadows of the Last War (it was a good 9-10 hour session).

My question is, once I'm done with Shadows of the Last War, what can I do with my group?

Here is what I have to work with: They will all be 3rd level

Female Elven Bard 3, dragonmarked of Phiarlan, has dreams of becoming a dragonmarked heir and taking over rulership of the house. Not too mention she wants to punish the Undying elves for treating her poorly.

Male Personailty Warforged Fighter 3, he has just recently become aware and has a serious malfunction, he has no idea who activated him or why, he's still in a learning stage.

Male Changeling Wiz/Rog, greedy, sneaky little bastard, his motivations are treasure and gold.

Male Kalashtar Psion, has an intense hatred for the inspired, and is the only person of reason in the party.

Any ideas on what I can do with them after Shadows? Any published adventures? Any ideas.

Thanks

Whispers of the Vampire's Blade (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=products/eberron/864300000). After that, Grasp of the Emerald Claw (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=products/eberron/177300000).

Well I would like to run Whispers, but I'm not sure if it's out yet, and they are only 3rd level.

I was hoping to run something in between to get them up to 4th.

What about the 1st level adventure in Dungeon? I could modify that, is it any good?

The adventure from Dungeon, "The Queen with Burning Eyes," is a decent intro to the cultists of the Dragon Below, as well as the creations of the daelkyr. It could be easily toughened to challenge a 3rd level party, simply by adding more monsters (more aberrations would be good) or upgrading some of the climax encounters (like something tougher than a bright naga). It also involves the Emerald Claw again, which will just reinforce how much your party should hate these guys.

Overall, it is a pretty straightforward dungeon crawl. I personally have not run it, but I am using parts of it to structure an adventure in the underground ruins of Sharn for later in my campaign.

I strongly recommend Queen with Burning by James Wyatt. It's in Dungeon #113, and is well worth the price of the issue. The PCs in the group I referee for loved QwBE, a lot. I think every Eberron campaign will can benefit if QwBE is added to it. It does indeed begin to explore the dreadful and insidous issues associated witht he daelkyr. One of our players has a kalashtar character, and it was fun to watch his character experience the enemations of the daelkyr's evil experiments.

Great adventure.

When I start brainstorming campaign ideas for a party, I try to make the campaign involve each character specifically, to one degree or another.

For example, if I were to come up with an adventure for your party, I'd have an Ambassor from Riedra (who happens to be Inspired, of course) trying to negotiate some deal with House Phiarlan. The deal could sour or the ambassador could to send his warforged bodygaurd (with a simliar affliction to your partie's WF) to ambush the PCs. And I'd make the object or climax of the campaign going into a dungeon (duh) with lots of treasure for the greedy rogue. This way everyone has some kind of vested interest in following through with the adventure. (something my group seems to have a problem with)

Of course, I wouldn't make adventures this specifc to them every time, but it helps introduce some NPCs and a suitably hated BBEG, the Inspired ambassador.
